At The Right Place
The worst place. Rooms disgusting, long term clients/residents are abusive and CONSTANTLY screaming at one another. Police have to be called not the residents because they are so dangerous. This place should be shut down.

We don't like the place at all. The facilities are old and not clean. Toilets are shared, small, often without toilet paper, sinks are too small and dirty. Showers are OK. Rooms look a bit outdated and not a lot of sockets. Kitchen is small, outdated. Lounge is cold (as well as the rooms). WiFi 100MG per person... Don't worth the money!!!

At The Right Place
It is one of the best motel you will ever find in christchurch city. Very helpful and friendly staff, also close to all the shops and clubs..Nice rooms and clean kitchen and lounge area as it gets cleaned everyday. Lots of people to meet and talk to. Great job guys. I am really happy with the services provided. Thanks.

At The Right Place
I was in a room without bunk beds, only 3 normal beds and a couch. Extremely quiet (except for the beds themselves, they were squeaky). Nice staff and easy check-in. One bathroom for 2 rooms. Very good location. I really liked it!

At The Right Place
Great and affordable location. Staff is super friendly and chilled. There are small and big rooms and backpackers lodge. I rented the big room if kitchen and bathroom for a couple nights with my girlfriend, the experience was perfect and I also had parking right in the front. The wifi is free with those coupons, but the lady ay reception seems to give it more if you need, problem is, the Internet is awful and you really can't use it. Still, for the price this is a great place that I would stay again and recommend to someone else.

The staff is very kind but that's the only positive thing about this hostel. The kitchen is dirty, the people that come to this hostel are weird and loud and make you feel uncomfortable, they were drinking beer at 10 am and turning the tv on extremely loud. All of our food got stolen out of the kitchen. We decided to cancel the other nights because we've never been so uncomfortable in a hostel.

Cheapest hostel I've ever stayed in new Zealand and also the nicest rooms.4 bed dorm with actual beds and not bunks for $25 a night. Best value for money and good facilities a ten minute walk from city centre.

perfect if you are backpacking and need a cheaper place to stay long term. You can even sleep in your car for a cheap price and still use toilets and the rest of the building without a problem. Very lovely and friendly staff :)

The room was very noisy (paper thin walls) and not very clean. Black mould on the shower curtain and bath mat, the towels provided smelled musty, very old plastic jug in the kitchen and not much else. The room itself felt like a prison or psych ward; no art, brick walls etc. We left after a couple hours. Only good side was the guy on reception was very nice and friendly.

BE AWARE IF YOUR ARE STAYING HERE - it's disgusting. In the bathroom the walls are mouldy and the paint is coming if the ceiling, the toilet seat is cracked & covered in yellow stains & the shower has cracks in the walls, there is 1 small heater for the whole place & the arm chairs are dirty & stained. The light bulbs are all uncovered & some not working. The bedroom window handle is broken. The sink and kitchen area is sticky and looks un clean. The mattress has a musky smell to it, which is hard to ignore when getting to sleep.Also the water is cloudy when you run the tap. Please see pics for evidence of my review.
