Not a good expereince for for our first ultrasound, little discussion on what we are looking at because we just wouldnt understand" and awkward uncomfortable expereince throughout. I never leave bad review bit this just gets bad vibes throughout"

Found the overall experience for a first pregnancy ultrasound rushed and disappointing. Little information was given and minimal discussion from sonographer (had an American accent) who was a bit rude and passive aggressive when she spoke. Dark, dingy and silent waiting room and receptionist was not welcoming. Website states the sonographer would make you feel comfortable and ask questions beforehand and that the procedure will be explained in detail". This was not the case. Sonographer didn't walk through the process and just told me to lay down

The sonographer who worked here (American sounding woman, didn't get her name because she didn't introduce herself) was very rude. She called my wife sweet thing" instead of by her name and called me "company" as in "the company sits here". Her overall demeanor was aggresive and she gave instructions like she was speaking to misbehaving children

All our pregnancy scans were done at Auckland Radiology Parnell. We could have gone to some other branch but we love Dana, the sonographer at the Parnell branch. She has an outgoing personality and a good sense of humour. She first does the boring stuff" like taking pictures of the placenta and then moves to the "interesting stuff" which means our baby.She gets straight to the point about what we need to know and does not want to know what I like the most.The entire process from making an appointment to getting the scans done is quick and professional. We had our 20 week scan here and expressly told the lady doing the scan that we didn't want to know the gender and she said he" and "his" several times despite us asking her not to. And when asked

I’ve never actually left a bad review before but this experience was so far from special I feel others need to know and maybe brought to attention so changes can and should be made.After multiple scans with my last pregnancy which I thoroughly enjoyed this was cold, brief and patronising.I understand where the ultrasonographer was coming from with her lack of commenting and descriptions etc but there was plenty more could’ve been done. Also a pronoun was used in my scan. Thankfully this wasn’t my first ever scan and have had great experiences in many other ARG clinics. Just left with an incredibly disappointing feeling and more concern. Called up shortly after as had wanted my babies measurements which were not given and got the report stating all was well thankfully.Nice enough lady who didn’t technically say anything wrong but managed to make a normal 12 week scan into a bad experience.

Found the whole experience here objectionable. Go to Ascot Radiology around the corner.

If i could give 0 i would. By all accounts i can see that the staff member in question has already been called out however i can share my experience.We had an American sounding lady she was aggressive rude obnoxious and made the whole experience for me and my partner one that we can only laugh at.She was passive aggressive rude and actually quite awkward. She has no real intention of making the experience a nice moment for families.I would consider any other place than here! Avoid like the plague!

My wife had ultrascan here couple of weeks back. It is not something we liked, we did our first scan in Ascot in the same block. There is a lot of difference how we are treated and made comfortable. We are never going back to Auckland radiology Parnell.
