Outram Glen Scenic Reserve
A good walk (3h return) with ups and downs following the Taieri river. Can be slippery, as the terrain is patched with rocks.

Outram Glen Scenic Reserve
Great place to dip the dogs or get your own toes in the water . Space for about a dozen cars and has a long drop toilet and rubbish receptacle.

Outram Glen Scenic Reserve
Easily accessible by car, with a short walk to river. 4wd access to water. Shallow pools good for kids. Lovely spot for a picnic or to take the dogs for a swim. NB signs indicate you should check before swimming as they may let water through from upstream. **River floods and becomes inaccessible after heavy rain.

Perfect zen place for a little family trip on a week day. Only a scattering of others around. Was magical. Swimming. Fishing. Bush walk. Sun. Rain. Sun. Heaven

Outram Glen Scenic Reserve
This is a good walking track and also a perfect place for family walk with kids and dogs. You get to see amazing lake/river. It took us almost 3 hours to finish the walk (with return). Generally, it's a hard track as it's mostly flat but there parts that are steep. I will definitely recommend this.

A pleasant spot to take the family and the water quality at the river was good. Toilets definitely in need of an upgrade however and general amenities seemed lacking. Huge potential here.

Fantastic swimming spot, good for a day trip out with the fam bam or friends, walk for about 15 mins down the track and there's a deep spot that you can jump into from the cliffs or do choice bombs, fantastic for picnicking, a locals secret.
