Stopped here for McCafe coffee out of convenience. It was a mistake. Barista seemed distracted even though it wasn't busy. Coffee was overheated and tasted burnt. Disappointing.

Great scenic hill Drive and great walking Tracks too. Wonderful place to watch sundown and view is spectacular.

Uniquely Art Deco decor which gives it a little bit more character over other McDonalds. Found service friendly though slow considering didn't seem that busy. Was handed a large fifthly table number stand and instructed to pick a table and food would be delivered which it eventually was and of consistent quality as you'd expect. Exiting car park can be challenging if queue of vehicles are ordering via drive through.

it’s maccas, if your lucky enough to get a hot burger or some hot chips it’s nice, but feels a little rude having the big supervisors kick me and some others out straight after we finished our kai was super rude and can’t say i’ve dined in since

I like that when the drive thru que is long they have people come out with the iPad to take your order, makes the process so much faster.Just wish the Mcflurry got filled a little more, haha, probably the smallest I've ever had at any mcdonalds ever. Thought it was a one off, but has been like that every time now.

Dirty, terrible service, got my order wrong staff uniforms were half on or just weren't wearing one. Looked like no one was in charge total disorder, will never go back, and I thought the napier branch was bad.

Wasn't busy, ordered ourselves and only waited a couple of minutes for it to be ready.Burgers were quite greasy and one had enough onion for 3 burgers haha.

Couldn't fault the food at all. The restaurant looked and felt a bit 'down' . Not sure if it was related to past weeks events. And they had a few indifferent customers. I noted a few wrong orders so checked mine before Ieaving. It was all good. Maybe their team could participate in some team bonding and learn to smile again.

Went there this morning before heading back to Gisborne...And It Was Closed!! Drive through only. Disappointing to say the least. I went somewhere else.

Finally a friendly staff member who actually looked like she was happy to be at work. Certainly made a nice change from previous drive through experiences.
