Mountain Bike Station

A group of 6 of us did the 4 day mountain to sea trail with 2 sections of canoeing. The organisation, support, briefings, communication prior and ability to tailor the trip to our requirements was outstanding. Mike, Steph and Jeremy were fabulous, so welcoming and helpful. The trail was amazing, day 2 was the highlight and that night a stay at the wonderful Bridge to Nowhere Lodge was special.

We have done a lot of the multi day bike trails around the country, the Mountains to the Sea was one of the most enjoyable we have done yet. We enjoyed the variety of riding, jet boating, kayaking and the river cruise.This is the first time we have booked through a tour operator, usually we have just organized the trip ourselves.We were very happy with the service that Mountain bike station provided, and we think it was very good value for money. Organizing the itinerary, accommodation, bag transfers, daily briefings, weather updates, return shuttle at the end of the ride and the treats we were met with to celebrate finishing was all a great package which took at lot of work, and made the whole trip a lot easier and more enjoyable.We are very happy to have used Mountain bike station for our trip.

We booked a 3 day budget Mountains to Sea trip before leaving UK and we're not disappointed.The service and support provided by Mike and his team met all our expectations.Good quality and we'll maintained bikes gave us no problems and the self catering accommodation was good, with hot showers and clean towels each night.

Ben organised a Mountains to Sea Cycle for our group of 7.The trip was so well organised with very manageable chunks each day, great places to stay, and wonderful food.We were looked after so well -Ben's instructions were clear, our gear was shuttled efficiently, the trip went without a hitch. Additionally Ben was always cheerful and accommodating, even providing yummy morning teas when we least expected it.Excellent value for money.We all racked our brains to think of how the experience could be improved - it was a wonderful ride and showcased such a unique and special part of New Zealand.We are very grateful for the opportunity

Ben and Rebecca were outstanding in their dedication to making our trip seamless, comfortable, and without problem.We were 8 septuagenarians from Oz and we did the Mountains to the Sea trip on E-bikes. Loved it - fascinating and wild country, and the riding trails mostly pretty good. The third day (the Mangapurua to Bridge To Nowhere track) is the more challenging section and had a few of our group opt out, but I enjoyed it the best. It has a lot of variation, remoteness++, history (well explained by signage) and beauty.Ben provided alternate options for those who preferred to miss that bit - he is very particular that everyone has a great experience.The food and accommodation also were excellent at the lodges and made a perfect end to each day.

Mountains to the Sea, highly recommend this trip. Ben, Rebecca and the team were helpful, always on time for pick up and drop offs, nothing was ever a problem, and the accommodation was great, especially Bridge to Nowhere Lodge. Will be back to do the Maungapura track.

Fantastic trip - we did Mountains to sea in 2019, and loved it so much we came back for a second trip this year. Ben & team took such great care of us and highly recommend!!
