Our prepurchase inspection was booked during the agent's annual leave.When they realized this it was moved to the day before handover. We were rushed through the prepurchase inspection while the seller and his extended family were at the house .. still moving his furniture and belongings out. I feel that this had caused us to miss some faults. We signed off on guidance from the agent and found the garages filled with more than a skip's worth of trash the house was full of animal urine when we received the keys.We feel that were the pre purchase inspection not rushed like this that we would have been able to catch these problems.Agent was otherwise unremarkable, they gave the typical questionable honesty around pricing and seller intentions.Your best bet when purchasing through property brokers is to approach it as though they are not involved.

Inconsiderate, very unsatisfying customer service. A lot of hassle during move in. We complained that unit wasn’t cleaned properly. I guess whoever did the inspection did not do his job well. Curtains and kitchen drawers are very dirty. NO cleaning assistance was provided when requested. They replaced some curtains and hooks but not all. We had to supply for missing hooks and curtains.
