I paid $95 for builder gel nails and 5 days later one of them has completely peeled off!!! Builder gel shouldn’t just be able to peel off so she obviously didn’t use the right stuff that I asked and paid for.She also made all my cuticles bleed by over filing, they hurt really bad.Extremely overpriced and now falling off after only 5 days, very disappointed and angry as I’m a traveller on a budget and will have to spend even more to get fixed!!!!

Lydia was a life saver! After having a not so great experience at a different salon in Wanaka I came in desperate for a quick fix before a wedding the following day. Lydia squeezed me in despite the online booking system showing full- so always call or go in to check! She managed to help me problem solve and redid my nails way better than before. I loved them, and they looked perfect for the wedding.She also does sets of take home stick on nails You can purchase and can add on nail art for special occasions! She was super friendly, easy to chat to and made me feel comfortable and way less stressed! Would highly recommend. Wish she was up in Auckland so I could go to her as my usual!

Personally my experience was rather poor and I won’t be coming back. I asked for a basic nail but she couldn’t seem to execute this at all. We paid a whopping $260 for 2 manicures. My nails are crooked, uneven and chunky. When filing it was quite aggressive, which felt like it went on for days. There was only one coat applied of polish which left the finish see through and patchy. The place was untidy and quite messy. They didn’t even mention that there was a cat staying in the shop. And I thought it was quite strange that there was cat there which wasn’t mentioned. When called to make a booking they didn’t mention that there was only one staff. Therefore it took over 3 hours. The lady was very nice but the service was not worth that much.

I go to Elysium regularly for my nails (and other treatments) and Lydia always does a fantastic job. My nails look great and last for weeks. Lydia is clearly an expert in her field! I often need to move my appointments around at the last minute and Lydia is very accommodating. She provides an excellent friendly service and I would highly recommend.

Always a really pleasant experience, Lydia is super easy to talk to and I always came away super happy with my nails and it doesn’t take too long either!Not only is she good at nails but on my first appointment we got chatting about a situation I was having a hard time with as you do at appointments.She went above and beyond for me and helped me with that just because she could out of the goodness of her heart.Can’t thank her enough to be honest.

Lydia did an amazing job on my nails, really happy with how they turned out. Plus she brings her cat to work and he is super friendly, so we had a great time.

I came from NY and needed a mani pedi after a horrendous journey to NZ. I always go to my same lady in NYC… and let me tell you if I can go to this place instead … I would.Everything came out perfect, even, and equal lengths. The owner is so nice… tons of colors, such a comfortable experience, great massage and adorable cat Russel.Would def come back if it wasn’t on the other side of the world. Really happy with my vacation nails.

I went here for the first time for a gel polish removal and a fresh gel polish replacement. I booked with the owner and when I arrived she placed me with a new nail tech who did not seem to know what she was doing. I was never told her name, and she struggled to engage in conversation. The owner even used my appointment as a teaching lesson. Long long story short. I asked for a French polish gel polish. The nail tech did not understand what this was. My nails are all different shapes, dents and marks on each one and 2 of them are smudgy and were the top coat had not dried properly.So so disappointed. The owner could see the girl was struggling and not once stepped in.Do yourselves a favour and save your money. Go elsewhere because there is no customer service e at Elysium Beauty.

Just had the one of the best massages ever from Elysium. The salon itself is a very relaxing cocoon like space away from the busy Queenstown retail streets. Russell the cat is on hand to offer pre and post treatment cuddles which I would happily pay more for! A great place to forget your daily struggles and dive into for a pamper session which left me feeling so relaxed I felt drunk...

This salon in the heart of Queenstown was the perfect spot for a infill. My nails now look and feel wonderful after three weeks of travel. Lydia was very professional and clearly is passionate about her job.
