Domino’s Pizza Gore

Really disappointed. Tuesday night, our order was perfect, really tasty pizzas. But tonight was rubbish. You could tell absolutely no effort went into our pizzas. One of the new Yorkers was mostly crust with hardly any topping. Dry pizza. For the price of a new Yorker, you expect alot better.

Pizzas not what ordered , got home to find BBQ sauce all over my pizza after being told no sauce , wasn't thin base as requested, after being charged $1 extra for the crispy base , they should have given a discount for the thickness of the crispy base , I've had pringle chips that were thicker . when I rang up about it I was told they would remake it for and I could pick it up , I told them they should deliver it , their reply was that it was to expensive to do that and I would have to pick it up.So due to their stuff up I have to use my feul , Service is not adequate, severely lacking to be honest, not some where I will ever frequent again, and definitely not RECOMMENDED to anyone , and as for the 1 star rating I have given you , it's the lowest rating available, minus 10 is where I'm at

To be fair it could be better but considering this is a new franchise I'll try it again next time I go through G-town. The chips need to be cooked longer cos they're all floppy & stuff, seasoning is nice though - just cook them a bit more. As for the pizza well... not a lot of topping, you get the bare minimum unless you pay for extras to be added. Rasher bacon tastes a bit like a$$ and isn't really cooked very well. But yeah, who knows... it might improve... it might not.

I had to go and get my own order 2 hrs after it was due for delivery as I found out upon pick up Gore has no drivers, my pizza n garlic bread had been sitting for 1.5 hrs and no refund not even a reply from them. They could not even answer their phones. it has been a wk since I ordered and each time I ring no one answers, nor can I seem to get a reply from my feedback. I would like a full refund.

Deserves no stars, this is due to the fact that pizzas are not well made for the prize they ask for. Takes a long period of time. There are not enough toppings, and the sizes are so small compared to other pizza shops. I wouldn't mind spending money for something that is well made, which is not Domino's. The base isn't baked well, if ordered cheesy crust, there is no damn cheese in it. Overall, I do not recommend this fast food shop. Domino's is an actual scandal. Pizza hut is much better, since they sell good pizzas for the right price and the toppings are well put unlike Domino's. Plus they provide faster services and the food is well made, unlike Domino's.

I understand your newly opened BUT...... Had to go back in 3 times because they kept forgetting something in our order. Out of 4 pizzas 4 sides and brownies, only one pizza was worth eating. Dry, flavourless, burnt bottom pizzas, brownies where dry and plastic tasting, wouldn't let anyone eat them just to be safe. Garlic bread was okay but needed to be cooked longer. We use to rate domino's better than hell's or pizza hut. If this is the standard that gore domino's is happy with I wouldn't go there. Save your money!

About the WORST Domino's Pizza outlet in New Zealand, possibly ever. On Tuesday ninth November I decided to treat myself and called in early evening to Gore Dominos, was told it would take 30 mins, only one young man working (left on his own, as Mgr or others not present) discovered that walk in customers are favoured the least, after eventually taking my order, it got to 3 mins in oven then next it dropped to 14 mins being prepared, mentioned the discrepancy and was told 'it was the system'. Eventually the pizzas arrived at the counter just over an hour later, no apology or explanation. I spoke with many locals & others, some who just drove off without their food, it was horrendous chaos (obvious that the Mgr did little work and clearly not bothered). Later I recd a missive supposedly from 'Diana at Customer Services' (though after last night, assume it a scam), with an apology and offered a 'voucher' for some complimentary pizza (unexpected and appreciated - thought mentioned attached, was not actually sent). Last night I decided I would avail myself of this voucher and drive the 40 mins into Gore to use the voucher, in advance I phoned explaining the circumstance, voucher number, my name and suggested they speak with 'Diana' at Customer Services, so they would know and have things ready to take an order. When I arrived I was spoken to by this sullen female, who indicated they were not bothered (incl Byron Mgr) and that the voucher number was wrong and were not interested in any way... I was left frustrated, angry and upset at having driven an hour and a half (return trip) for NOTHING. There were about 10 staff behind the counter, only about 3 doing anything. Obviously Domino's Pizza Gore & Mgr, do not GIVE a stuff about their service or any visiting customer, As for 'Diana at Customer Services' seem a Domino Scam to make things worse.

We have had pizzas from this shop numerous times and they have never disappointed. With menu offerings like Peking Duck pizza, it is hard not to come back. We love the way your wait time is shown on the screen to keep you informed of when your pizza will be ready. Finally, the service from the team is top notch.

Totally peeved. Order was for 6 o'clock. Hadn't arrived so I rang 3 times just to be told in the end our order wasn't there and they couldn't help. We are on shift in a resthome and people went back on shift without tea. This was for a leaving do. The order eventually turned up an hour late and cold. The delivery driver didn't seem to know where she was meant to be. Terrible service Domino's.
