Honesty rating. Hubby made a purchas from caltex then 10 minutes later we were sitting in our car eating takeaway lunch and the young man from caltex came across the road, confirmed my hubbys purchase then apologised and handed him$95.00 and explained he had mistakenly charged him for somone elses petrol along with his purchas. Hubby would have been none the wiser had he not come and found us. Thank you for your honesty young man!!.

Well priced fuel and a really pleasant man at the counter. There's no toilets on site, so we needed to cross an extremely busy highway intersection and walk down some steps to use the towns public toilet. Caltex need to ask for pedestrian lights to be installed, it's quite a difficult road to cross, and locals don't seem to want to let people cross safely. Thought I was going to get mowed down by a vehicle on a mission to the Liquor store opposite.

Good store to top up gas and get AA smart fuel discounts,it also has a Mc Deez, Ljs and other fast food stores connected.Customer service is ok and there isn't much car parking. Caltex Oakleigh,just before whangarei always has cheaper fuel if you can wait.

Very popular spot to fill up, use the restrooms, and maybe grab a bite to eat! As also attached is a great little Indian restaurant with very nice food, also in the same building, is Jesters Pies, and Mcdonalds! Directly across the road on State Hiway 1, is a great Japanese Sushi shop, and also a pizza outlet, attached to a bottle store, and directly across the road, is The Junction Bar and Restaurant!
