I came here a while ago but did end up coming away with a very bad haircut. It was very uneven and looked horrible, definitely was not what I asked for at all. probably won’t come again sorry.

So happy to have found Scissortrix! I am quite particular about my hair, so I’m always worried when I try a new place. But I fell in love during my very first visit when Rachel had me walking out with movie-star hair! The salon is clean and stylish, and quite roomy so you don’t feel cramped sitting on top of other clients. Highly recommend!

The salon was beautiful and the hairdressers were all lovely and friendly. I came here after seeing positive reviews for curly hair cuts. I was a bit disappointed my hair was cut wet and not dry like is normal for curly hair and even after left for a few months to grow is uneven and shorter than I would have liked. I think the error I made was booking online and not choosing the right stylist but being new I just followed good reviews. Overall the salon is lovely just didnt end up with what I had hoped.

I made an appointment with Merilyn to have my wild curly hair cut. The welcome to the clinic made me feel very comfortable and Merilyn was great and listened to my needs and made some great suggestions.My hair sulks for a few days after cutting but now is back to normal and the cut is great. I would highly recommend a visit if you are wanting someone to take care of your wild and woolly. curls.

Went in for a shampoo and blow dry as I had an event to go to… my appointment was with the Owner (Merilyn) who pampered me, untangled my hair very kindly and was really interested in making my hair look the best! They were understaffed but you could barely tell because everyone in the salon was being looked after. The lady that styled my hair (I believe her name was Jess) was also extremely thorough and made me feel very pampered. Will definitely come back!
