Friendly staff.Really really outdated deco but pretty clean.Meal was great portion.

On good Friday it was a struggle to find something open for dinner in the small coastal town of Greymouth. We relied on what looked like the only Chinese restaurant in town to be open for a hot meal (aside from the one pub which had an hour wait and a small handful of fast food chains.The decor inside isn’t the most modern and is a bit run down.We ordered the bbq pork chow mein which was ok, I was expecting the noodles to be wok fried and crispy but they were just boiled and soggy.The chicken foo young omlette had very little chicken, there was a lot of cabbage inside. And no gravy, braised sauce, unlike others I’ve eaten.Not the best, but at least it was a hot meal.

Excellent service and food! Got beef wontons, sweet and sour chicken, and chicken fried rice. Food was ready only 10-20 minutes after we ordered and tasted great. Definitely will be back!

best Hong Kong food on the coast, used to be a few knockin bout, 1 in westport & hotikita, this one has survived the longest because it's no.1 on the coast & nothing beats quality

Had sweet and sour pork which was hard and chewy and sweet and sour fish and I'm sure it was caught from the grey river and it smelt bad. Would not recommend at all

The lady boss is friendly. The taste of the food is average and the portion is big.

Subpar Asian takeaway food but it’ll do for a couple of Auckland travelers traveling through the settlement. Very vintage-shall we say interior, but with no competition guess it’s not something they’d need to worry about. Chill owners, love to support but food is quite meh, will do for a familiar meal but not again.

Place is grubby and shabby as was woman serving . Food total disappointment. Tasteless and uninteresting. Fork wasn't clean. Can't understand why we stayed and ate but sure won't be back

Got chicken chowmein and sweet n sour pork takeaway. The container had more flavour !!!

Average noodles, sweet-and-sour pork was tasteless. Won’t be going back.
