We’re very thrilled with our gorgeous red Shadowspec umbrella which is now a feature of our small back garden.The quality of the umbrella is exceptional, as was the sales service and delivery. We couldn’t be happier.

I bought the Shadowspec Retreat umbrella - what a great system! Fits on my exterior weatherboard wall and has real flexibility as to where I place it, yet tucks away when not in use. I received the unit in the morning and was able to install it in the afternoon - I just needed the sun to shine! It'll come and I'm looking forward to the shade it will bring during the Auckland summer. Thanks Craig for getting it through before Christmas. We're real happy.

I considered a number of options to avoid the lower quality options for a patio umbrella. I wanted to also avoid a weighted base on my deck. I doing research I found the Shadowspec wall mount option. I was immediately impressed by the design. In attempting to order it, didn't appear to be available in the US.I emailed the company to inquire about availability, they quickly responded that they would be happy to ship me the unit I was interested in for a very nominal fee (from New Zealand) The umbrella arrived quickly, I proceeded to install, not too difficult. In doing some adjustments, I did use too much force, and snapped a component (entirely my fault). I emailed Shadowspec, they quickly shipped me a replacement part at no charge.We love the umbrella, fits our small deck without taking up footprint for a base. The components are all stainless steel or aluminum, zero potential for rust. The strut that holds up the arm can be adjusted to provide an exact counterbalance for the weight of the umbrella and arm, by positioning to dead center of the strut cup match marks it was perfect, and allows for future adjustments if needed. Highly recommend, and especially love the excellent customer service. I rarely write reviews, this is a well designed product, and a company that stands fully behind their products.

So thrilled with my Serenity Cantilever umbrella; a long sort solution to an outdoor area on the northwest corner of the house. An area sundrenched in winter and scorching hot in summer. The umbrella is easy up and easy down and easily rotates 270 degrees with our corner installation allowing us to follow the sun for maximum shade in summer.Purchased online, site unseen. The umbrella exceeded my expectations. Quality and ease or use evident.The company responded quickly to any queries pre purchase and during installation.I would certainly recommended this product

I have just received my Shadowspec Serenity Cantilever Umbrella. The first thing that I noticed is the quality of the packaging for the frame. Shadowspec have really applied great design in ensuring that their product arrives to the customer in one piece, completely undamaged. The frame itself is beautifully made. This is truly a high-end product. The instructions are clear with good diagrams. I look forward to many years of enjoying the shade that this umbrella will provide.

These umbrellas have transformed our house this summer the Duo has reduced the heat in our house an enormous amount, we were running the air conditioning in the afternoons to reduce the heat and now we don’t need to do that ! The Retreat has reduced the heat in our living room and still allowed us a view of the pool and not impacted the indoor outdoor follow. Both umbrellas were easy to install using the clear instruction.

The umbrellas around our school pool were damaged by high winds and needed replacing. Shadowspec provided help and advice as we lodged our insurance claim and then quality advice and help as we chose the replacement umbrellas. A friendly, knowledgeable company to work with - thank you.
