Ive shopped at COMRADES for surplus military and police equipment for years. Awesome range of gear. Easy parking. Good prices. Always something for anyone into outdoor fun.

Awesome militaria stuff. Stock always changing. Prices kinda reasonable. Service stern and stand offish. I don't know why the shop keeper puts himself thru it.

Bought leather belt but had to exchange it as it was too small. They didnt have a bigger size so I purchased a different brand which was 10 bucks cheaper and I so decided id also buy something else small to use up the extra $10. The new total saw me owing them an extra 20 cents. I didn't have any cash on me, just a.money card. The guy working there made me do an eftpos transaction for the extra 20 cents! Seriously?? Talk about unbelievably tight!!!! These are not the type of people id like to do business with. So won't shop there again out of principle. Some Cool stuff though.

I have not visited a Comrades store, only ordered online from them so my review is about the product I purchased as opposed to the store itself. I bought a small army shoulder bag/haversack and the price, quality and speedy shipping were amazing! Its getting harder to source and find quality genuine military surplus as opposed to commercially made copies that are far inferior. Very happy with the experience and definitely will shop online with them again. As a daily messenger" or carry all shoulder bag

COMRADES went out of their way to help us kit our kids out for a school production. Sourced what we needed and organised best price freight to Christchurch. Solved a big headache for us and we couldn't fault the service. Thanks guys.

The store itself is very well stocked, however it is also FREEZING. I don't know how the staff do it, it's very open to the elements and really would benefit from a good dusting.Also, really don't approve of stores who sell confederate flags in this day and age. Maybe best to move with the times and ditch the flag.
