STATION LODGE OHAKUNE

Have stayed at Station Lodge many times mostly in the chalets. The accommodation is fabulous with excellent mountain views. Very clean and all necessary amenities available. Full kitchen in 2 bedroom chalets with dishwasher and proper oven as well as microwave. Own drying room and spa a real bonus. 1 bedroom units also very well appointed and luxurious too.Just a short walk to all the restaurants at the Junction.It's also very close to the mountain road so good for mountain access and if you don't take your car up the mountain the managers can provide shuttle transport for you. Being close to the station there is also the option of getting to Ohakune by train.

Lovely self contained unit with amazing mountain views. We had everything we needed and more. Cozy, warm, dry. Great location too and the guys that ran the place were really helpful and friendly, giving us lots of useful local tips. Would definitely stay again!

Awesome stay, good location easy walk to the old coach road, tidy outside area and overall pretty good. A few things that could be improved are that 32 people stayed (we didn't fill the whole lodge) but we couldn't get anywhere close to filling the dining rooms which meant people had to be sitting outside. Secondly there wasn't enough steps down to the ground in the the wooden bunks in the rooms which in the dark meant that people had to jump which meant a few falls. But other than that a good stay, would recommend.

Just a fantastic stay

Dave was super nice, gave us lots of local info and knew what would keep a large group happy! Accom was perfect for our large group (7 families = 33) clean tidy warm private, spa was a hit!! Kitchen well equipped, perfect location and size for groups to have space and security while relaxing with stunning view of the Mount.. will be back for sure highly recommend

We stayed in a 2 bedroom chalet and it was great. Clean, tidy, spacious and exactly what we needed. There was more than enough room for everyone, we had 5 adults stay. The accommodation has a lounge, TV, bathroom, 2 bedrooms (no beds in the lounge), full kitchen (with oven) and everyone loved the private spa. From the unit we were in we could see the mountain from the kitchen window. Awesome location! Right in town, close to the Ohakune Old Coach Road, right next to the train station, supermarket etc. Private carparking space, off the road. Cannot complain. Would definitely stay here again.

We have stayed at Station Lodge numerous times and love the self-contained chalets. They are well set-up, warm and the bonus of having their own private spas. Jane is lovely to deal with and we look forward to coming back again next year.

Fantastic setup. Clean, tidy. Roomy. Fantastic, supper comfy, chill out lounge. Great kitchen that is well resourced. Showers have plenty of pressure and hot water. Plenty or room choices and prices to suit the budget.
