Little Manila

I lived in the Philippines and the food here was nothing authentic like the food I ate.. super whitewashed version of it. The two staff there were great so one star for them and nothing for the food! lol

Very tasty and will come back again! Only criticism is the meal could have had a little more meat.

I love Filipino food and since moving to Wellington have been struggling to find a place I can get Filipino cuisine. But the sisig and Lechon kawali from Little Manila didn’t really hit the spot for me. The rice to topping ratio didn’t really match up where I had way too much rice left over in the end and struggled to finish my bowl. The sisig didn’t taste quite like the sisig that I am familiar with, but maybe there are different variations and I was just not familiar with this one. Lechon kawali was better out of the two.

A new Asian style fast food outlet chain with a Philipino link. The meals on offer have a salad base with a selection of various cooked meats lavishly cooked in a spicy coatings (pork belly, chicken, beef, lamb, roast pork). You can have a rice or noodle base. I always prefer rice.

Worst customer service we have ever experienced, sadly. We never complain, but both working in hospitality and understanding the importance of customer service- this was appalling. No recognition, no greeting, and when we asked if we could order we were told by a staff member (who was standing there, not doing anything besides chewing) that he would prioritise the “line”. We had actually been the first ones to approach the place and there was no offer of service at all. There was another lady who arrived after us and was served first also. Very disappointing, we will not be supporting your outlet in future with such rude staff. We do kindly recommend that the staff are trained in both service and personal awareness and presentation ie. chewing with your mouth closed and better yet, don’t eat during a period where customers are waiting to be served in order to make money to support your business.

Tried this for the first time tonight absolutely beautiful and healthy can load with all sorts of vegetables and nice meats and a really good price highly recommend this as I really enjoyed

Food was not good at all. Dry slaw and rice. Too much rice for the amount of toppings you get.

Really skimps on the meat. The bowl I got was 85% veggies & noodles, barely 15% meat. Not worth the price at all
