Nicola designed and planned and managed a make over of our near 15 year old interior including Kitchen, bathrooms, home office, media room. Nicola and her team were so great to work with making everything uncomplicated, fun, and of course professional. The result was awesome. They listened to our requests, worked to our tastes and offered their advice and opinion to keep us on track. It must be a designer’s worst nightmare; having your husband (who dislikes disruption and wants everything finished yesterday) as 50% of your client for a re-sculpting of your bedroom, ensuite and dressing room.What NM Design delivered well exceeded my expectations; a stunning set of rooms with space and warmth to their atmospheres and a delight to live in.The clever restructuring and expanding of the upstairs area to allow for a re-purposing of a bedroom to create a large new ensuite space, the conversion and expansion of the former ensuite into a dressing room and the extra space created in the master suite by doing so was brilliant in its conception, as was Nicola’s management of said husband through the Covid-disrupted renovation process.All three spaces have brilliant use of colour tone, surfaces and light. The ensuite choice of dark tiling with honeycomb through it accompanied by a dark bench top with warm, dark wooden cabinetry contrasted with white bowl basins are brilliantly accompanied by a superb double shower and a bath that is both a delight to look at as well as to use (it even has a niche beside it that fits a wine glass – quality designer forethought!)The dressing room is sensational; outstanding racking space for suits, shirts and shoes and plenty of drawer storage accompanied by a burnt orange Ottoman in the middle for practical things like sitting to put ones shoes on makes it an unbelievably useable yet visually stunning space to walk in to each day.The master suite choice of colour and textured wallpaper as well as the more practical access to the ensuite than we previously enjoyed is great and the extra space is a bonus; a tremendous place to hide away with a book in the chair if some peace and quiet is needed and the larger TV with surround sound I was permitted yet another example of the designers excellent client management!All in all, client expectations well and truly exceeded, a brilliant job!

Nicola has been fantastic to work with.
