Had a great experience recently, bikes were in good condition, staff was flexible, knowledgeable, and friendly and helped answer all our questions. The step through e-bike was excellent, and recommended for less seasoned riders due to the upright position and nice riding experience. We really appreciated the option for half day hires, which not all places do these days, and was a big reason we picked ABH.We did the trail down to the bungy bridge (Arrowtown river bridges trail) and a bit further, which was a nice ride; lots of different types of scenery, including some nice things along the way like the chance to feed both alpacas and goats, as well as a very friendly cat. Took around 3 hours with quite a few stops (including a ~30min stop in the middle), and would be more like 2 if you were just pure riding.

We turned up without booking in the afternoon, and man there (sorry didn’t get your name) was so lovely and helpful. Went to get us some e-bikes, sorted us with the right size and helmets. Gave us a run through on how to use them and told us routes to take.We ended up biking to Gibbston Winery- 16km each way and had a lovely wine tasting in the sun before returning back.Bikes ran smoothly and highly recommend the e-bike option unless you’re quite a seasoned rider, there’s a few hills involved.We had a great time enjoying the scenery along the river and into vineyard country in the sun.Highly recommend! Next time we would love to prebook and cycle back to Queenstown. Thanks for the great avo out ABH!

Friendly efficient service. Bikes were great, well maintained and easy to ride. We cycled out to the bungy place, had a coffee and snack and cycled back in half a day, about 26km round trip. Arrowtown is pretty and the scenery magnificent. A lovely day out.

We did Arrowtown river trail. It took us 4-5 hours for the round trip and lunch. Highly recommend Arrowtown Bike Hire! They are so friendly and so quick! Don’t forget to book your bikes in advance if you want to lock in the day!

Amazing customer service and great trails. We were running a few minutes late and we didn't get charged extra. Will be back again

The lady who served me she was fantastic, I hired a bike and went for a ride , she also gave me a seat cover which was non chargeable, unfortunately I fell down due to very icy road and I lost my balance soon I made a phone call and she immediately came to pick me up in her van , then she did a first aid on my bruises and well looked after me. It’s a great place to explore on bike and they had all sizes available and easy to hire for a day or half a day.
