What a lovely place to stay if you are visiting St Arnaud and the lakes. Margery the host made us feel welcome straight away. We arrived in the afternoon and as it's winter the local restaurant was shut we hadn't thought about this however Margery had and she had made us chicken casserole. Which was delicious!! The conversation and wine was flowing are dinner and we very much enjoyed ourselves. The room was warm and clean just what you need after a day of walking. I would definitely recommend staying here.

This is a great place to stay if you’re exploring the Nelson Lakes area. The house is large but has a cosy cabin-like feel, set amongst lovely gardens where tuis and other birds live. The hosts are two lovely, welcoming people and the breakfast is awesome.
