Valentines Buffet Restaurant & Bar
Wow. Amazing staff. Very welcoming and friendly across the board. The food.. top class menu. All food at a very high standard. Especially the seafood. Raw fish perfect. Desserts delicious and topped off with delicious coffees from machine. Flat whites etc. Great value for money. Made my birthday special with a personal balloon and glass of wine.

Their food is great now. You will not be disappointed by dining in. The seafood chowder is the thickest and tastiest I have ever had. Plenty of oysters , prawns and other seafood. Very good selection of other meats and salads as well. Dessert selection will keep you coming back for more. The friendliness and professionalism of the wait staff are that of a five-star restaurant. Everything in the restaurant is clean the tables the carpet and the other facilities.

My worst choice since I've been in New Zealand, the price is expensive for the quality of the food, we didn't enjoy any menu! I do not recommend it at all!

Valentines Buffet Restaurant & Bar
Food was pretty lame. Nothing spectacular at all.Oysters were disgusting and full of shells.Asked to speak to manager about the oysters, he sent over the chef instead and stood chatting at the bar with his colleagues.I definitely wouldn't reccomend dinning there.The waiters were all lovely and hard working. The stars are for the waiters and chef whom tried. Minus star for manager not caring.

Not a good experience. As we arrived, it was evident that this restaurant was not as it is advertised. The restaurant had a strange smell and everything tasted off. We looked over and saw the chef filling up the macaroni dish at the sink, and mixing it with some chicken salt. For $50 per person this restaurant did meet our expectations.In addition, we looked over and saw this young child with his hands in the chocolate fountain; it was disgusting!Please be warned, this restaurant is not a good option for dinner.

Awesome food. Awesome friendly staff. I'm allergic to lemons staff and the cook were so thoughtful in making sure I knew what dishes to avoid and even offered to prepare sides for me without lemon. Will definitely be back

Valentines Buffet Restaurant & Bar
The staff seemed very hard working and they were quite helpful. Although the seating we were given was unacceptable, couldn't believe seats like that existed. We were surrounded by arcade machines and kids running and yelling around us like we didn't exist. It was a horrible area to eat in and I just left the place as soon as I could. The food wasn't worth the price for what it was, they didn't really have anything that spectacular, only thing I ate was smoked salmon and some mussels. This restaurant was by far the worst choice we made during our holiday in Rotorua. That's probably the last time I ever go to a valentines resturant, did not live up to the reputation it once had.

Valentines Buffet Restaurant & Bar
Really enjoyed the food here today. Seafood chowder was beautiful. Salads excellent. Bread and butter pudding very yummy.Had the same experience 4 months previously.
