We highly recommend Harbour City Funeral Home of Lower Hutt. When we visited Harbour City for funeral arrangements for my husband who had passed away unexpectedly, Anthea welcomed and supported us during this especially difficult time. She helped to get everything organized for a funeral service and cremation that was culturally and religiously appropriate and the best way to honor my husband. Given the unexpected passing, we only had a few days, over a weekend, to plan the funeral service and cremation. Anthea was incredibly accommodating, making herself available even during off hours on Saturday and Sunday to have a Monday service. She coordinated with the caterer, the florists, and casket services expeditiously and was able to have everything ready for Mondays service. She took away a lot of the stress, handing all the logistics down the details of how the funeral service would be conducted that aligned with our culturally appropriate ceremonies, allowing our family to spend time with my husband whenever we wanted and ensured everything was done correctly. She was there throughout the service and cremation helping us each step of the way.
