Le Petit Hotel in Sumner, Christchurch uses Dormakaba card locks , and the system works faultlessly. When ever we have had any queries the company has always responded extremely quickly and supplied any information that we have required. We have an automatic Dorma door that our previous tenants installed on our site and have since moved out, I called Dormakaba yesterday as the mechanisms to release the key barrel has seazed up and the lock smith can’t get it out. I asked if they can come and service it so we can have it rekeyed for the new tenants. To my surprise I was told by Chris at Dorma I need to sign a monthly servicing contract just to have someone come take a look at their faulty product! This is pretty much extortion and not a good way to get new business, we have 50 commercial properties and because of this experience I won’t be using Dormakaba and will be having their product removed. Worst service ever. Lie to you and then muck you around. Very poor and lack integrity.
