Pelorus Eco Adventures - New Zealand Kayaking Tour
Fun and slower paced Kayak trip. (Great for beginners!) Jade was amazing and took us out on the river and showed us everything we needed to know for our first time. Great views and scenery and the Hobbit section is small but worth it if you are a fan!

Went with Shane and his deck hand khan for a 4 night hunting/ driving and fishing trip. Absolutely great guys, couldn't recommend them enough!!Shane's a very knowledgeable guy and knows everything about the area.The crayfish down this way are monsters! And I bagged my first ever dear. Amazing stuff!Definitely coming back. 5 stars

It was a beautiful location with great scenery. The paddling was quite easy but definitely really fun. Shane was really friendly and was full of knowledge about the area aswell as some good stories. Would definitely recommend to anyone who wants to do some kayaking up that way.

Holy Holy had the best adventure tour with Shane and Khan out on thier 22meter tuna fishing boat. They went out and beyond to thier ability to make it a trip of a life time. Covered all the species, fishing, deer hunting pig hunting and cray fish for breakfast. These two are the true southern experience with the sourthern rawness that make you know your experiencing the real thing.The beauty is they can organise accomadation at the blue mountain lodge and throw in mountain biking too.Thanks Shane and Khan for making this an experience never to be forgotten.

Pelorus Eco Adventures - New Zealand Kayaking Tour
Absolutely amazing experience! We loved every moment of it. We're huge Middle-earth fans, so there's no better way to experience this Hobbit filming location. But aside from the film connection, it's just a stunning stretch of river. Definitely try to take a swim during the kayaking trip; the water is crystal clear – really beautiful. And our guide was super friendly and knowledgeable. We loved it!!

We enjoyed a really nice relaxing kayak down a beautiful calm river. Shane was very friendly and made for a very relaxing tour. The scenery is absolutely beautiful and your guide will take pictures of you and email them all to you at the end. Thanks for a great tour!

Pelorus Eco Adventures - New Zealand Kayaking Tour
Amazing views, great fun. We were lucky to come down the river when it was very full and got to go down a bit further than usual. Only will say that The Hobbit scenes were pitched a lot to us by our travel agent but these wasn't a lot of hobbit related stuff to see. I'd say definitely come for the New Zealand beauty and the fun kayak, the hobbit related stuff is more of a bonus.
