Nice place to try Chinese food in Christchurch. Generous portion and good pricing too. Not too happy about the cleanliness but overall good experience.

Bad bad service I never had in Christchurch, waiting for table more than 45mins , all the staff not polite talk to us, and arrange we sit under Air conditioner, that was so cold air , we talk to staff and they not allowed turn off and say this table is like that and will cold we can’t help anything also can’t change table, after we tell them we would like cancel order and leave and they want not happy to said turn off air conditioner for us.Foods was so salty, never and ever will come back.

Pretty cheap compared to other Chinese restaurants. Service was good, the owner lady tried to bargain us to buying more rice which was quite funny. The food isn't seasoned as much as your typical average restuarant but the good thing is the oil that they use feels fresh and less fatty. The sweet and sour chicken was quite sour but I liked that part even though others would disagree. Mapo Tofu was disappointing, more spices and more seasoning would perhaps fix it. The lady also suggest Honey Roasted Walnut Beef Cubes, which was surprisingly soft but not my type. This place is not for me but if you like less seasoning and a cleaner plate, this is for you.

Went and bought take away dinner went home and the fried chicken knuckle was sour tasted like old left over food. we had to chuck the whole dish away 24 dollars and the garlick pork ribs 28 dollars was very small portion and no meat just skin and bones. have had food at this restaurant 5 to 6 times now the first 3 times was great and then it just gradually get worst not sure if change of ownership or chef but differently wont be going back.

Was here for evening meal on Monday 15th May with 2 work colleagues.Lady serving us could not be faulted and did her utmost to please and accommodate.The food was ok. I wouldn't call it exceptional but the serving size was very good given the price. I just struggled with the taste of the food a bit.What was rather off putting was the state of the premises. Run down, paint missing and generally looking quite unkempt which in turn makes you wonder about food quality.An atmosphere/environment that is not conducive to dining out affects how you feel about the food being served and the taste.⭐️⭐️⭐️ from me as I feel I could not at all rate this establishment any higher.

Very unfortunate experiences in terms of servicing here. The food isn't bad per say, kinda like your average Chinese yum cha restaurant. I come here from time to time and honestly the servicing is never up to standard. Came here a few days ago and waited at least 40 minutes with only one serving of cold buns given to us. Many MANY tables after us were fully served, and it didn't make it better as we were seated next to the bathroom; and was also in a bit of a hurry so we had to leave with basically a empty stomach!The staff always look like they are in a rush and all over the place almost every time I come here, but for some reason can manage to be so slow especially during busy days! If you don't mind long waits then the food is okay; however, during busy days can be an absolute nightmare and would avoid!

Have tried Chinese cuisine at other places before but i think this one was the best.Tried there chicken dishes (kongpao, ginger, and fried knuckles), perfectly cooked full of flavours and quite good serve size.10 on 10
