Broadfields New Zealand Landscape Garden
This is the BEST garden I have been to in a long while. The planting is just stunning, and the staff are friendly and knowledgeable. In late spring there were many beautiful rhododendrons, camellias and irises to view, as well as unusual.NZ natives and a very productive vegetable garden. You MUST pay a visit here!!!

Broadfields New Zealand Landscape Garden
We visited Broadfields garden last weekend on an unseasonably warm early winter's day. The gardens are really magical and the recommended route gives a good overview. The owner is also very friendly, knowledgable and helpful. We look forward to visiting again

Broadfields New Zealand Landscape Garden
Such a beautiful garden. The amount of work gone into the design, plant choice and upkeep is stunning. Truly a national and international treasure. Well done to the master gardener Mr Hobbs. I will add that Mr Hobbs met us and showed us around Broadfields. He outlined some of the garden’s history and his plant knowledge was impressive. All I can say is thank you for creating this beautiful place. Definitely plan to return for another visit.

Loved the garden and all the wonderful examples of NZ trees and shrubs especially! Thank you to David for teaching me more about the plants of NZ and sharing so much of his time. Wonderful hospitality! Will return here on my next visit to NZ.

Wow what an Absolutely Beautiful property. Went to a wedding here over the weekend and loved walking around the really long pond and all the pathways through the different garden areas. Stunning.

Broadfields New Zealand Landscape Garden
These gardens are well worth a visit. David showed us through describing the plantings to us. Most of the specimens were very well labeled which was most helpful. They have received a number of awards in recent years. I would love to go back again soon when the azaleas will be in bloom. I was very impressed with the native clematis.
