Great value for money. Lovely meal of Snapper and salad for me and steak, salad and chips for the fella. Both generous sizing, and beautifully cooked. Ate in, as the place was empty. Basic and well used decor but that aside, a really nice experience.

We were driving to Auckland and intentionally stopped over in Huntly because of word of South Cross Fisheries.I must say, the food exceeded expectations. We ordered a gatsby burger, a South African style burger. The steak within being juicy and tender.I would most certainly drive out to Huntly to satisfy any future cravings.

Fish was fresh and very tasty. Generous portions, low cost, high quality. Order the oyster burger with lemon fish. You won't forget it!
