We have been at Best Start Kenderdine since 2015 and have had a wonderful experience for all of three of our children. The staff are extremely supportive and nurturing. Our kids love going to school everyday which tells us they are thriving and that gives us as parents peace of mind

My daughters, Moana-rose and Noelani, have had an amazing time at this kura. The staff are absolutely amazing! They are more than just “teachers”. They are extended whānau to me and my girls. The staff demonstrate a commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi through mana so turoa (the exploration and connection of one’s self and the environment) and mana reo (executing the mana of the language by communicating Te Reo Māori they know). There is an immense effort and execution of Te Whāriki and ECE Frameworks that is implemented within the classroom and experimental work outside. The kura consists of diverse cultures and the staff make the effort to acknowledge these cultures and take advantage of the diversity through their implementation of weekly cultural weeks. I am dreading the I will leave this kura altogether when my girls move on. Highly recommend this kura to anyone that is reading this!

The teachers and admin staff are absolutely amazing and very helpful. They made the enrollment process a breeze. At first I was very skeptical about enrolling my 4 year old daughter at a daycare in New Zealand as coming here was a huge culture shock for her, but the moment she walked into her new school she felt right at home. I would definitely recommend Best Start Kenderdine to family and friends.

His last day with Best start Kenderdine will be 17th May 2022.Karan has been on amazing journey with Best Start Kenderdine road. As Parents, we are very proud of Karan for what he has achieved in the last 4 years and very thankful to all the teachers at the Best start for their hard work, dedication, and tireless efforts that each of you put into making him the bright kid that he is today.We are firm believers that much of what kids do as play, sing, draw, dance, are natural forms of art that engage all the senses and help wire the brain of successful learning which also aligns with the best start educational structure.We have seen him grow with his friends at the daycare since he was 9 months. The care and the education that he received over the years from his teachers are exceptional. It’s a great deal of effort that requires molding an infant to toddler and becoming a pre-schooler, ready to take the next big step of starting school in his life. Karan has been always an active child and his journey right from Harakeke room to Kowahai to Pohtukawaa to Kea and to The Tui room has been adventurous and educational. We have always loved the concept of a practical, sustainable and healthy approach to learning that your centre has promoted for the kids and it really makes a colossal difference in the mental and social growth of the child. It’s fulfilling to see him putting all the practical knowledge and education he acquired from the school into practice.This has helped him to become one of the most confident kids that we wanted him to be. Teachers at the school have always been very accommodating to the challenges that we faced with Karan i.e. him crying in the morning, being stubborn to follow the instructions, and some attitude adjustments. As new parents, we highly appreciated and valued all the guidance we got to overcome the parenting hurdles from the very well-experienced teachers. Teachers have always been very creative with their activities and the motto of the centre to promote the cultural and social importance of all the communities is exactly in line with today’s needs.Karan has loved his daycare and his teachers along with some long-time friends with who he transitioned through his growth.Lastly, once again we would like to thank all the teachers for being the best and putting their hearts out every day to make the kids feel comfortable and guiding them on their learning journey.Karan will surely miss his Best Start Whanau.Kind Regards,Jass & Payaal
