Ordered a mutton pie for $7 and its more like a meatloaf type rather then chunks of meat in gravy. Still tasty but not what I was after , also had a steak,mushroom and bacon pie freshly baked with a cool change drink and based on that pie it was absolutely delicious. I would highly recommend it is by far my favourite pie in Christchurch so far. I carnt really have cheese so there is alot of pies with cheese in it including the bacon and egg pie.

The best bakery in town! Can't stop myself from going at least once a week. Always busy but they keep baking throughout the day to keep up! Run by a friendly Cambodian family.

I think this is the best bakery I’ve found in Christchurch. I don’t know why it took me so long to visit here since it’s in my area. I had a bacon and egg quiche and it was generously sized and perfectly baked with flaky pastry and lots of veggies. The prices are quite high, but there’s a pie shop down my street who prices very similarly. I would rather pay $9/$10 for a decent sized pie than $4/$5 for a pie that leaves me hungry.10/10 would highly recommend to anyone to treat themselves here.

Once you've tried Aorangi, you will NEVER go back. Where do I start? Their amazing Elava pies? Their delectable chicky avi Sammies? There lip smacking good coffee? They also have a store in Woodend which is also irresistibly good. But nothing beats the original. They do the basics, but oh my do they do them well! The apple slice is a must try!

Nice and tidy bakery and a cafe. Soft drinks, coffee are available. Lot of pies and other bakery items to select from. As it is by the main road, it would be street parking available.
