Best bakery in NZ. Smoked fish pie is soooo good! And their apple turnovers!!

I love this bakery have been coming here for yrs it's clean friendly .they make great pies and u love the mince savourys

They're a bakery so there is no dining facilities...its all takeaway...their savouries and bread ( bread rolls included )...sandwiches, donuts etc, are all of a good standard. There meat pies are very good, and the also have French sticks which I buy on occasion. They're currently closed for the Christmas/new year break.

Best bacon and egg pie ever. Nuf said.P. S these guys are the most friendly wonderful guys. Still true.

best bakery I have ever been to. I recently moved out of the area and have been missing it ever since. Great prices, great staff and great quality. I would recommend the sausage rolls, frank rolls, apple turnovers and neenish tarts.

Hands down the best bakery in the Ranui/Swanson area. The food is superb, especially the hot pastries like pies, savouries and frankfurter rolls, and hands down the cheapest and therefore the best value for money bakery in the area. I have been to all the bakeries in the area and they are between 25% and 125% cheaper than all the rest but their food is 100% better than all the rest. An example being $1.20 for a mince savoury at 'A Savory Bakery' whereas you get charged between $2.20 and $2.50 for the same item at other bakeries in area. A.S.B.'s food is always hot and fresh. The lady serving at A.S.B. is friendly and helpful, always ready with a smile and patient when you are choosing what you want and respecting the customers choice of which particular baked good you want. I would recommend anyone in the area to stop in and try their goods, the only negative I can come up with is they aren't open on Sunday's.
