Te Kopua Whanau Camp
The camping site here is very good. Close to the sea, can walk in a few minutes, we are happy here for 4 nights at a friendly price. The people who live here shared fish and oysters with us. They were kind. I shared roast beef with them.

Facilities and location good. However we reserved a spot over a quiet side of campground but when we arrived someone was in our spot so there must have been some confusion with their booking process and other campers. So we we’re allocated a spot in the middle. We wish they monitored and reinforced the rule of quiet time after 10.30pm. As we were kept up by multiple campsites loud music and talking till 3am.

Came here last year. My favourite part of my Raglan trip was to come to camp after a surf then go and sit on the beach in the sunset.Facilities were clean and staff were so friendly. I recommend this place to everyone! :)

Great cheap camping ground. Facilities are good. One set of toilets were newer than the others but they still work fine. The owner is very nice and accomodating. Would come here again

Te Kopua Whanau Camp
This campground is 100% worth the price ($10/person). It's basically just a large grassy field with numbered camp spaces throughout that is a 3 minute walk from the beach, the facilities were clean and well kept with flush toilets and paid hot showers. There is drinkable water and trash/recycling on the premises. The people who run the area very friendly and getting a space was totally painless. I would love to come back and stay for longer!

Excellent place to stay tidy camp site and the operators are very friendlyVery affordable @$10 per adult and $5 for children 7 and olderHad no problems with the showers unlike some of the other reviews2 minutes walk to the beach and the only 10 minutes drive from the surf beach and about 10 minutes to raglan town too. There is also a walking or bike track that takes you all the way into town from the campMe and my family will definitely be back very soon! Wish we had longer than just the weekend there!Cheers teamCaleb Edhouse

Loved it. it's a campsite that is convenient, clean, and tidy. You can park up, set up, and get your family yourself ready for the outdoor life Raglan has to offer you.
