Just pitiful. No check in reminder email on the return half of a ticket. Google calendar entry made oversees used local time zone, so when calendar updated to NZ time zone it moved the entry I made to the next day. Even with the app installed I got no notification at all about the return flight. Called ANZ, hold time 1 hour 32 minutes. Agent said harsh reality" was to pay more than the original flight roundtrip total cost just to get on the same flight next day

We can't thank the crew enough on flight NZ206 from Brisbane to Christchurch on Monday 13th February. My husband had a medical event out of the blue and the crew were amazing. Thanks to their prompt service he is back on his feet. So appreciated.

booked a ticket and decide to upgrade. they charged us the premium amount but gave us an normal economy seat. asked both at the counter and via phone can we get the driffrance back /refund or add it back. now stuck in a infinite loop of monkey in the middle with costumer serviceonly flying with air nz because Singapore Air did not reoperate the same route yet. Air NZ used to be good

We left a camera on the plane and realized 15 minutes after we disembarked. We called the 0800 number which just hung up on us (guess they're flooded with people trying to rebook flights). Called chch airport who directed us to the AirNZ desk. Very condecending. Incredibly rude. She gave us a number to call and those people were more helpful and got the camera for us. But whoever we got directed to first needs a lesson in customer services. Its a stressful situation and the last thing we need is to be treated like dirt.

I’m 90% sure they are intentionally makes the call waiting time longer to make sure you won’t be able to catch the flight so they could charge you more for rebooking.

Always use Air New Zealand. They have a great team. Helpful and caring. Great with kids and family’s. Happy to pay higher price the fly with a cheaper company. They do New Zealand proud.

We are still trying to leave New Zealand ! Air New Zealand have cancelled our flights many times ! We can’t get anyone to call us back ! They give you a credit and you cannot get hold of an agent to help you book another flight ! Our original cancelled flight is leaving in two days we need to get on it we need to use our credit and no one will call us back ! I have never ever dealt with such an awful company in my entire life ! I understand that these are unprecedented times but still you would employ more people to deal with a higher than normal demand !

The worse customer service experienced from any company. If your flight is cancelled you'll be paying extra for alternatives. The average wait time for customer service over the phone is more than 2 hrs. Air NZ know that they can treat their customers like trash, and we are still forced to use them. Let's hope Jetstar expands their air routes or other competitors enter the market.
