Great fun place to take the kids to. Although adults enjoy it just as much. 2 tracks available, the hill and tunnel track snd the track that goes around the park. I do enjoy going through the tunnel with a steam train as you get to feel the steam in your face as you go through. The park track is really long and fun too. Open sundays from 11 to 3pm.

Wow! What a lovely place with lovely people. Thank you for running these train rides for our tamariki. Very good value for money, lots of parking and I love that the concession passes don't expire.Just call ahead before you go to make sure it's running that day.We'll be back soon!

First timers. We loved it. My kids enjoyed it, the tunnel ride was their favorite. Lots of parking available. Great venue also close to playground and field. Very family friendly.

Love this place. We go each Waitangi day when it is free for special needs kids. The volunteers are fabulous people and I love to see the kids smiling so much. A very enjoyable day.

I haven't been here for years so my wife and i took our 8 month old son today and after i use to live across the road and spending a lot of time here 30 years ago, the vibe and atmosphere of the place hasn't changed as it's still good fun for kids and adults. We went on a weekend when they where running a special event and there was about 10 different trains to ride on. It was good to see plenty of young volunteers with some driving the trains. At $2 person and under 2 years old being free, it's within everyone's budget. However sadly some parents need to keep their kids under control as the volunteers just seemed to be constantly having to keep kids out of danger that were walking on the tracks causing trains to slow down or stop and kids playing on the locomotives when they are clearly in the public no go area, even had one kid get into the workshop and started playing with stuff they shouldn't be touching and i don't blame the volunteer that growled at that kid. Anyway i reckon that this place is one of Auckland's best lesser known attractions.

Amazing experiences! Highly recommend. There are a lot of assorted trains and They are all be maintained very well.

Awesome place to have a nosey during lockdown, looking forward to them opening up for sunday rides.
