It isn’t cheap but much better than ya average fish and chippo, the chips are nicely seasoned unlike ya average fish and chippo where the chups barely even have any table salt on em, so that’s a bonus. Also the 2 pieces of hoki fish I got were delicious and I gobbled them down all whilst battling west Auckland traffic. Very good and would’ve given 5 stars if weren’t for the price. I will be back.

$60 for 2 small portions of chips, that were soggy and cold, 2 pieces of bland fish, 3 squid rings that were overcooked and literally tasted like rubber. and 4 muscles that are so disgusting that we cant even eat them. absolute waste of money and also the guy who we called to make our order was absolutely useless, didnt know how to talk and didnt offer any cheaper options such as the deals for when we went into the store we saw that you could get deals for better prices, as we did not know that he couldve given us better options then spending $60 on low quality, bland food. extremely disappointed and will never be coming back

I hadn't been to LJs in a while and i was pleasantly surprised when we went last week. We had the grilled fish. It came with salad and fries. Just perfect for what we were after. You help yourself to the sauces. I will go more often based on my most recent experience :)

Best fish and chips hands down! We get the snapper and the batter is fresh, as is the fish. Chips are yummy too. I am not normally a chips fan but could eat a bucket if them. ha ha.

The staff were friendly and attentive, and the food was delicious. I especially enjoyed their burgers and fries, which were cooked to perfection. The restaurant was clean and well-maintained, and the atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming. I would definitely recommend LJ's to anyone looking for a tasty and affordable meal in the area.
