Very popular for such a tiny space! But when you taste the delicious food, you’ll understand why it’s worth waiting for a table. Cute and cozy with very retro tea cups and milk jugs. It got really warm inside when another customer shut the door so we ended up taking our sweaters off. Friendly staff who patiently waited for our order when half our table couldn’t decide. No barista made coffee, but they have bottomless filter coffee. Food is amazing! Came out quickly too. Amazing cakes at the counter too. If you’re in Avondale this is a must!

A cute lovely find. I had the pork and prawn omelette. It was delicious but for me a little too spicy! They don't do barista coffee but had filter coffee. They also have cakes in the cabinet for a sweet finish.

Relaxed, cozy atmosphere. The background music is very comfortable. I like their furniture style very much, it may remind people of the golden days of the family. I really like that their coffee cups are different. Knives and plates have the temperature of time.Their food is very simple. I am Shanghainese, sorry, I am not very familiar with the English names of Western food culture, I can only say that it is quite special. I like the combination of colors and complex flavors of their dishes . Next time, I would like to ask the owner of the freshly made cake, can I buy a slice?

Great little brunch spot, dare I say it’s the best cafe I’ve been to, they have such a great range of food to select from we got the Smoked Fish Crumpet, Chilli Fried Eggs and the Corned Beef Hash, everything was delicious, and the service was top notch and of course we had to try their cabinet food, their Cheesecake Donut and Lemon Meringue Tart, I highly recommend this place!

Decided to try this place out, it’s quite small so there may be a wait to get a table during busy times. It was really nice, the food combinations may seem a bit random for some menu items, but it works really well in the end! We got the corn beef hash and Ry’s sando (changes daily). The cafe atmosphere itself is similar to Wellington, nice music and great service. The cabinet items/ cakes are also really tasty.

Awesome local spot. Grab a bottemless coffee, some beautifully scrambled eggs on homemade crumpets and watch the world go by. Cozy and simple. Love it!

Incredibly tasty food and amazing service. Ordered the sandwich of the day (beef Rueben vibes) which was huge and delicious. My friend ordered the fish crumpets which were 19/10 amazing!We weren’t lucky enough to grab the chocolate tart/pie as they’d sold out but we asked nicely enough and they popped some cookies in the oven for us and did not disappoint!

Loved this cute little place. A hidden gem. Food was delicious, and the coco was sooo decadent!!! Atmosphere gives off vintage vibes, so cozy! Loved it!!! Will definitely come again.

The food here is really something special, beautiful presentation, flavour and experience. The cake for breakfast was so Devine. We had to wait a little bit for a table but it was so worth it. A real gem. Has gf and vegan options <3

Excellent, excellent, excellent cafe. Consistent food every time with friendly service and a relaxed atmosphere.We had the chilli fried eggs, the pulled pork sandwich (of the day), the smoked fish crumpet and the pork and prawn omelette! On two visits… but could have it all in one because the food is sublime!! Hats off to an amazing, creative chef.The passion fruit quencher and ice tea were also knockout drinks. 5 stars all the way- don’t miss if you’re in the area
