Ramada by Wyndham Wellington Taranaki Street

Loved the concept. Having been travelling through hostels and hotels for an extended period of time, having a little studio type flat with all the amenities (even including laundry liquid!) was an absolute dream.

Stayed here from Dec30 to Jan3. Hotel is in good location, my only concern is the room is not serviced everyday! I stayed here for 5 days and the room was only serviced once and that was by request! I understand the short staffing situation but I have paid a premium price on the entirety of my stay. First day when I first checked in, the toilet itself is not spot on clean, the rubbish bin is too small and not collected everyday. Overall my stay was okay. +1 that they’ve allowed me to check out an hour late than the usual 10am.

Brief stay, rooms well appointed if laundry required but narrow. Area suited us as we had early ferry next day.

We went on Google reviews when booking our accommodation at the Ramada Wellington, Taranaki St and we are so glad we did. They really are located within easy walking distance to central Wellington while the apartment was modern, very clean & tidy and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The staff were very pleasant and helpful with the check in and out being a breeze. We parked our car in the Wilson carpark that's very close and although not a covered or monitored park we didn't have a problem with our car. The Ramada do have a stacking car park available but after reading reviews on it we felt our car was a bit too big to risk trying it. We would definitely stay at the Ramada in Wellington again and would also look up their Apartments in other cities after having such a great experience.

Nice room with separate bedroom. Kitchen well equipped. Bed very comfortable. Plenty of hot water. Great location and quiet.No Daily servicing due to staff shortages, but happy to replenish supplies on request.

Our room was not ready for guests. That's the best way to describe the situation.Also a disappointment that the room was not made after the first night, despite us hanging the label on the door.Extra coffee sachets we asked for were thrown on the dining table instead of being neatly arranged in the rack.And more but oh well..........Room 408, Sat 28 to Mon 30 January

Excellent service at the front desk! This was peak customer service. The rooms are also well suited and comfortable.

PLEASANTLY SURPRISED. I am surprised by this hotel that turned out to be a service apartment. It is so spacious that I have not come across any in Wellington. The bonus is that it is fully equipped with kitchenette, dish washer, washing machine and dryer.

I stayed at Ramada Feb 2023 for 4 nights. Great location and easy walking to Lambton Quay, Cuba Street and Te Papa Museum. Staff at reception were friendly and helpful. I used the washing machine and dryer and found kitchen area most useful. My ferry to Picton was cancelled at last minute and I returned to hotel around 9.30am. The Manager (Sarjay?) stepped in to help when it appeared I could not get back into same room and had to wait until 2pm to check in again. He was very professional and solved my problem quickly and I was back in the room within a few minutes. I was most appreciative and would definitely recommend this hotel.

King rooms were well appointed and modern, great facilities, full kitchen, dishwasher, washing machine, dryer. Excellent bed and shower. Very clean. Quiet location and not too far to walk central Wellington. Great front desk service. Definitely recommend. Would have liked sky or movie option which wasn’t available. Otherwise a great stay.
