Great for a short nature walk with a nice centre seating area that gets good sun access mid-day

This is one of our most favorite gully walks in Hamilton. We found that the parking is easier at Armagh Street and there are actually two walkways there into the bush.It is maintained very well by a team of people.Lovely to hear the birds in the trees. My photos are taken Feb & March 2023.

Short loops with little boardwalks and bridges. Suitable for all the family (though not all of it is stroller friendly). Some of the original corflute signage made by Dr Seeley is still there, and students have upgraded other signage. There are several special things to look out for such as a morepork memorial and some magnificent trees. There is a restoration group that meets regularly to weed and look after the area.

Couldn't even find this place. Looked like it was behind a gated community and the people living there wernt pleasant when we were looking for this walk.

Not wheelchair friendly, right next to a private driveway. Need to park on Whyte St and walk as there is no parking in or around the culdesac. Sign is barely visible. But if you can and are able to trek down, the reserve looks natural, the sound of birds and water relax even the most stressed.

Fantastic gulley walk. Not pram friendly, dogs on a leash. What a superb job A J Sealey did. Would be 5 stars but for the polluted state of the waterway.
