We had lunch at cable bay, great views(even if it rained like crazy)Service was great, wine selection was good. Enjoyed ourselves. Forgot to take all the pic of the food.

We wine tasting to all the vineyards in Waiheke and I have to say this was my least favourite. The lady who did the wine tasting was not very friendly she spoke about the different wines but she didnt interact with her customers. It was like she was reading from a book instead of talking to us. She was also very stingy with the wines she poured way below the line on the glass compare to the other vineyards we went to. However the place was beautiful.

We did the basic wine tasting for $15, the experience itself was good. Knowledgable and friendly staff doing the tasting, however some of the other staff members were quite rude and sharply spoken. Came across as if they really didn’t want to waste their time on you

Did some wine tasting here, lovely man helped guided us through the wines. Location we sat in was awful though. Back in the corner of the restaurant, instead og outside in the sun with a view, or back in the cellar dorm.

My experience here was AMAZING!The food is good but I think the service is the highlight of my whole experience. The staff greeted us friendly and showed us to our table. Everybody was very patient with us even though it took us quite a while to decide what to order. The lady who took our order and mainly served our table was SUPER nice and helpful. She even adviced us of how much we should order, in case we ordered too much. We really aprreciate it!The wine was great and the pizzas were just delicious.I recommend this place to anybody who are interested in the fine-dining experience. Of course it is a bit pricey but I think it is worth it.

This vineyard was amazing. The views when you walk through are breathtaking. We did the premium taste testing and the Five Hills wine couldn’t be more perfect.

Came here for new years eve, and it was one of the worst experiences I've ever had at a restaurant - if it wasn't for Mud Brick fitting us in last minute, it would have ruined our day.Us and 2 other tables were sitting with our hands up trying to get someone to take orders, our waitress argued with us when we politely said our tonic water was flat, the waitresses were mocking people with their hands up in the kitchen/ galley, there were no beer glasses and the waitress squeezed cut oranges with her bare hands into our glasses...and to top it off they kept trying to charge us for things we had to send back.I understand that there is huge problems with staff shortages, but so many of the issues above didn't need to happen.

BEST OF THE BESTIf you ever need a truly amazing Vineyard visit - then Cable bay would be the one. For us it was like a once in a lifetime sort of experience.View, Food, drink, customer service - everything was so good - we will remember this for a very long time.Very close to Ferry terminal, relaxing ambiance, fast service, great food and drink choice and the list goes on.Staff looked after us so well - thank you.
