Went to Boots and All". Great service

Went here for the first time yesterday afternoon [22/01/16] - doesn't look like much from the outside just another big ole suburban bakery in a small shopping centre. I wasn't intending to buy anything as we'd just ordered Pizza from next door but my son wanted a drink & maybe a gingerbread man if they had one so we went in. I ended up buying a delicious looking piece of coconut rough slice, an unconventional looking 'wedge' of lolly cake, a gingerbread person with my son's initial on it & a bag of coconut cookies with a decorative dollop of jam in the middle. I have to say everything we bought far exceeded any expectation I had of your typical bakery food - all of it tasted remarkable, was well made & not just sweet. I was worried such a large piece of lolly cake would be hard & fatty but it was soft & delicious just like a cake. I will drive over especially from Chch city to frequent your bakery from now on - a welcome pleasant tasting surprise in a jungle of mediocre dry, bland tasting establishments just going through the motions of baking stuff. 5 stars for you Robs Bakery :-)

Great food to offer

Got salad sandwich. And it was soggy dry the luttuce before u put it in the sandwich. Pies once again looked hard. Not satisfied. Next time I go to hells pizzs

I am only rating the pies here but honestly... Best Chicken and Mushroom pie I have had, good ratios and quality of ingredients, fantastic flavour and excellent pastry.The Steak and Cheese pie was delicious with decent chunks of Steak and real Cheese! Brilliant..

Made a nice coffee and the food looked fresh and smelt delicious. Friendly service and good prices.

Your mince pies are not worth $4.90. There was no flavour and the crust was hard and it was only 12.30.very disappointed.

Easy parking in the Lilliebrook carpark this bakery makes and provides great lunch meals and snacks Hot and cold food plus drinks are available here. Reasonably priced you will get a good food here.

New Zealand's worst value for money pie's. Bought 3, all of them were yuck! We only ate them as we were super hungry.
