Prestige European

Very Helpful at the time but difficult to get hold of by phone after I left. Diagnosis of car issues may not have been correct. Tried to speak to them 3 times after visiting but no response to messages and nobody ever answers the phone! Lovely people though if you go into garage.

When my car broke down in Gisborne and I needed to get back home (Mt) Richard and Lynn were only too happy to help. They were professional and concerned around my safety, but also wanted to get me back on the road asap… which they did. I would totally recommend Prestige European for all your mechanical needs. They know what they are doing, are super friendly and helpful. I couldn’t of got me and my car back home if it wasn’t for them! Thanks so much guys, really appreciate everything you have done for me. My VW has been serviced at Prestige European for the last four year. The quality and value of the service is far beyond that of the official dealership in Napier. So much so that I will not use the official dealership anymore. Furthermore Richard is way more professional in his dealing with customers than the people at the dealership in Napier. I believe that is a reasonable baseline.Thus I highly recommend using Prestige European for servicing vehicles.

Had them install a new bonnet release cable for me, tested it out later during the week to find it had been installed incorrectly and had caused damaged to the handle, then offered nothing more than to take a panel back off for access to the cable again.Edit: Part is more than fine, I finished the installation properly and it works like new.

Prompt, quality work and friendly service. Will definitely be heading back for extras.

The team were extremely helpful and professional despite being obviously very busy leading up to Xmas. I had a major transmission problem which they quickly diagnosed and then came up with a transport solution home. I've dealt with many snooty euro car repair shops before who are less than they think they are. Gisborne Prestige European were fantastic and I'd recommend 100%.

I had an engine warning light come on during an extended road-trip. I was able to leave the car with Richard and the team at Prestige European and they urgently analysed the fault and made a series of recommendations to get me back on my way.They could not have been more helpful or professional. Disappointing experience with my Audi. After having timing belt replaced for 50% more cost that Napier Audi I still had to take it to autoelectrician to sort electrical components that were not reconnected. After my latest call for estimate on replacing ignition barrell, I was told that they would need to see the car, which incurs cost, for diagnosis first otherwise can't give estimate not quote despite qualified mechanic already diagnosing. In addition was also told that due to staff shortage only regular customers could be dealt with before Christmas. Not sure how to change my status! Napier give estimate over phone within 24 hours. This place doesn't deserve to service such a quality and dare I say it 'prestigious' brand of car!
