Isabel Harris in Teed Street, Newmarket would have to be my most favourite place to visit. It is full of wonder, divine smells and fabulous gifts. Jo and the staff are very knowledgeable and helpful beyond words. My 'go to' shop when looking for something special for oneself or a friend/family member.

We always shop at Isabel Harris for our bathroom hard soaps & cream soaps, glorious gifts, pure cotton PJ's, hand cream, scented candles. Need a memorable gift, you will find it here and very helpful, knowledgeable staff.

Hi I would just like to say a very BIG thank you for shipping a gift to my Mum in Christchurch, she has been on her own for the lockdown, it was such a lovely surprise for her and she just loved the extra little goodies included. Hi I would like to share my shopping experience at Isabel Harris with others. I live in Christchurch and had learned about the Isabel Harris boutique shop through their online website in 2018 when I was looking for retail shops in New Zealand who sold celebrity Kokeshi Dolls by the artist Lucie Kaas. Discovering Isabel Harris online was just a sheer delight with all the beautiful items that were available. And so began my contact with Isabel Harris. First up was a Kokeshi doll 'Frida', bought by my son for me Christmas 2018. I visited the shop in January 2020 and was able to discuss further purchases of Kokeshi dolls through their order system. My son also expressed an interest in purchasing the David Bowie Kokeshi doll. My son is difficult to buy for so once in Christchurch I contacted the Isabel Harris shop via email and Jo telephoned me back.What an amazing service Jo provided! I was able to order, purchase and also pay for couriers to send my son his surprise birthday present on the 21st April. Fortunately our business had been completed and organised before lockdown but Jo also contacted me to check on all the arrangements from her own home early April. I cannot speak highly enough about the manner and service provided by Jo at Isabel Harris.

Visually gorgeous shop full of luscious products - I make a point of stopping in whenever I visit Auckland, and I have also had product shipped more than once. Margaret Hema fans can pick up their necessities here, along with the most amazing fragrances in candles, bath goods etc. etc. I always get some Nellie Tier hand cream as well - it's a favorite gift for North Americans wishing they were in New Zealand. (That would be ALL Americans, really, if they had any brains.)A fave.

Love this shop and the online service is fantastic.Was trying to find my favourite French Linen spray recently and had almost given up. I tried Isabel Harris and yes they had it, yes they would send it and yes it was at my house the next day!!It’s not enough to be a shop full of beautiful things- the people have to be special as well!Thank you Joanna for the wonderful service and the fragrantly scented bed linen. ❤️

Love the gorgeous perfume that fills the air in the shop. The product choice and range is also compelling. What I love most of all, though, is the friendly and helpful service offered by Jo and her staff. Whether your budget is big or small they will always find something perfect.

Fantastic kiwi owned shop with quality products and great service. Have bought quite a few gifts here for Christmas, birthdays etc and they’ve always gone down a treat! Highly recommended.

Jo has a passion for her little boutique and everything she carries is delightful ,well considered ,charming and unique. She has a knack for choosing just the right line of candles, which are my downfall , all with delicious and memorable scents that are not available or presented anywhere else as beautifully as she does . Its a joy to visit Isabel Harris a joy to set Jo off to find just the right piece for me and a joy to leave with my buys....triple joy shared .

Always always beautiful gifts to choose from, and I find it hard to leave without treating myself too. And the personalised and helpful service makes it a joy making choices! Make an effort to go here - great cafes and interesting shops nearby, and parking always seems to be available nearby too!
