Went here for dinner the other night with some friends and one of them brought along their 4 year old daughter. They are vegetarian and there were some options for them so that was good. The falafel was very nice. They did have some fries too but the little one didn't like them as they had some herbs on them but the rest of us thought they were good. Everything was pretty good, for me it was a bit heavy on the coriander which I don't like. It was in a couple of dishes but it does say it on the menu. Everything is made to share so it's more of a tapas style and the staff were really helpful in ensuring that we ordered enough but not too much.

This place is excellent! I just had hummus and beetroot salad ( that’s a half portion you see in the pic, the other half I took away). Super taste, decor, and service. I’ll be back!!

Delicious food, every dish was full of flavour, good and quick service, friendly staff, and a really nice place to share a meal. Have been there twice for lunch now. Can't wait to try more from the menu. The only little down side was, some of the dishes were smaller in size. But, the other time I went with a couple of friends. We paid $20 each, for a shared lunch and all of us were reasonably full and really happy with everything we tried. Definitely going back to try other dishes on the menu.

Getting straight to the point, it’s good. The meat was tender and beautifully cooked. The hummus and salads were tasty. It all came v quickly and was delivered with a smile. At the time of writing it didn’t have it’s alcohol license. That wasn’t a problem. We ordered seven dishes for four people, an eighth Would’ve disappeared too. Recommended.

Went down there on a Tuesday night and was surprised to see how busy the place was which we took it as a sign as how popular the place is. We took seats outside and were lucky enough to enjoy one of the wellington's calm and warm nights. The service was great and the food came out promptly. we ordered range of meezes both cold and warm. Hummus with meat, fried cauliflower and the potatoes were the standout meezes. We also shared some of the grill, the lamb was tender and juicy and the chicken was moist and delicious. Was a fantastic meal and would highly recommend this place for anyone wanting to try authentic levantine cuisine.

Ordered one of pretty much everything with a big group and it was all awesome. Loved the lamb! Very tasty. I crammed a few things on one plate sorry, so no appetising shots. They did come plated beautifully!

We had a slight hiccup with the booking when I had increased our seats after making the booking online via phone but it wasn't registered. Apart from this, our group were in awe of the food, the flavours, even though were are all big meat eaters but we didn't mind the lack of meat dishes.We ordered all of the hot dishes and all of the grill dishes, and we highly recommend the lamb and the eggplant from the Grill section! Personally I absolutely can't stand lamb due to its distinct smell but I was blown away by the juiciness, the softness, tenderness and the lack of smell from their lamb it was just the talk of the table and long after! The eggplant dish was equally amazing and every piece of vegetable on that plate was flavoured to perfection. Special notes were made of their desserts (we tried them all) and shouldn't be missed. To top this off, the staff at the till was extremely patient with us with our complicated payment scheme and he needed to be applauded!

EXCEPTIONAL. The best meal we had during our 2 weeks in Wellington. The food was incredibly tasty and filling, and the service was excellent. The menu had lots of really good vegan options and the vegan dessert (a halva mousse - pictured) is something I'll be dreaming of for years to come. Can't wait to come back on our next trip to Wellington. Well done Damascus team.
