Little Thai Restaurant
Came here a couple of weeks ago with my partner and noticed the owner I’m assuming just sits behind the bar watching everyone while they eat etc. the younger girl was nice with good customer service. We proceeded to take our food home and began eating and there was a hair in one of our pad Thai’s I was so disappointed with this and the amount of money we spent. Overall just wasn’t a great experience** I had to edit this because I can’t reply to comments.Neither my partner or I made a call to the restaurant and neither received a call regarding the definite hair that was found in one of our chicken pad Thai. Just leaving my honest review for future customers

Wow what a lovely place. Incredible service and outstanding food. Portions perfect and everyone goes out of their way to make you feel right at home. A little slice of Thailand right on our doorstep. Don't be shy make turn for authentic quality food.

I've been here few times but the chicken pad Thai that I ordered today was horrible. I don't remember having pad Thai that tasted so weird. Almost like rotten! Unfortunately, I had to return the dish. There was no apology or offer to order another dish but they made me pay for it.*had to edit this because I can't reply to comments. I know Pad Thai has eggs but it's not supposed to taste like rotten! I always order Pad Thai, therefore, know what it's supposed to taste like. We do appreciate food. Hence, swallowed the blend soup but after that Pad Thai I literally sat there starving while my company finished their meal. I wish I read the recent reviews before coming in today but hey thanks for the pathetic experience. Will definitely choose fast food before (rather than after) coming to a restaurant like yours and starving.

The food was nice, the drinks way to expensive, chef was busy, bar trend/owner was napping, if I wasn’t with the friend I was with I would have been bored,

Parking Is an issue because of the location of the restaurant, decor was nice and service was good. The serving was generous however I found it to be quite bland and a bit light on the coconut cream. There was no basil at all in my dish which I was disappointed with. I would’ve liked more rice as I felt it wasn’t enough compared to the size serving I received. I had water and the water tasted muddy, perhaps this is Pukekohe water?, I don’t know. Price was $21 for the meal and $3 for the rice. All in all I probably wouldn’t try Little Thai again as it was near the bottom of Thai food experiences I’ve tried.First time I've ever added to a review but I'd go further now to say the owner has issues with people leaving reviews that aren't favourable to his business. not all meals come with basil and the rice is $2 not $3" I've added pics of the menu saying it comes with basil and the bill to confirm the meals price and the total. I'd suggest avoiding the place altogether as your dining experience maybe tainted by the review comments if you don't like the place like myself. There's way better Thai around and much nicer owners.To the owner

We love Thai... so it was great to finally get to the see the new premises/management with its more modern, clean, fresh and stylish decor. Nice work guys. (BTW This site needs updated photos.)We could only order their takeaways tonight however, we look forward to dining in. The phone reception was fantastic, food was ready fast, on time and beautifully done. Plenty of parking nearby.Staff are very welcoming and friendly. Food tasted so great. Spice level was awesome.Will definitely be back.Thank you for working really hard (in the current economy too), to add quality Thai dining to the community. Best wishes.

The restaurant has had a overhaul since our last visit, really nice decor.I had the Duck Basil, and my wife had the Chicken Yellow Curry. Although mine was quite tasty and filling, I felt their was not enough duck, it felt overwhelmed by the amount of vegetables. My wife did say how much she enjoyed her meal.The staff were very attentive.Won't stay away so long next time.

If you are looking at comment a year ago or more please try ignore. If you have visited this place over a year ago I would recommend coming in again! My partner and I felt like Thai so we came for dinner and it was SO good! Waitress need a bit of practice but these are new owners since March 2022 and it was so nice! Such an underrated place for the food that is served. Give this place another shot this food wont disappoint
