We watched on V max here at house 7, was a bit dirty…like most of the other event cinemas in Auckland. There were a lot of popcorns on my seat.

My go-to cinema! A bit further away than my local Hoyts and a little more pricey, but you get what you pay for. Definitely worth the drive for a wider selection of films and showtimes. Good popcorn and drinks for reasonable prices, and always clean and professional. My partner and I love going to VMAX films and getting one of the double daybeds, so comfy and always very clean. Very friendly staff too!

Excellent family experience. Lots of Free parking easy access from the motorway food court available for the hungry. Theater is lovely sound to die for and unobtrusive ushers, very important. Everything is clean organized beautiful

The theatres themselves are OK but some of the front of house staff could do better. After buying a ticket, waited ages at the bar to be totally ignored by the staff member who eventually turned up. Asked 3 different staff members for a drink to be told they couldn't help. The beforementioned guy eventually turned to me & said 'ya right? So I said no, have been waiting ages, can I get a drink please? No apology for keeping me waiting & ignoring me

I can only speak for Gold class as that’s all we use, the service is great, staff are very friendly and informative, food is great, drinks are fairly priced, lounge is clean, that’s kind of where the gold class experience ends though, firstly the balcony has been closed for months, however it does look like maintenance is underway, the toilets are horrendous though, every visit they are worse than the last time. There is always dry urine everywhere (at least in the male toilets) which tells me they aren’t cleaned during the day. The Gold class seats are a real let down too, they are peeling and ripped which makes them impossible to sanitiseMajor improvements need to happen to justify $35 per ticket

Took my son to the movies as a special treat. Customer service in Gold Class Albany was great until they served a dessert with peanuts on it to my 12 year old son who has an allergy to peanuts. He chose it off the menu so he no doubt did a typical 12 year old read of the menu and didn’t think about the ingredients too much. Could have ended very badly but luckily it didn’t. The customer service person in Gold Class was not prepared to give a credit card refund for the dessert, only a gift card because they said it stated on the menu that the dessert contained nuts. So in other words “Don’t care, not our problem”. Perhaps, not your problem, but where is the customer service in maintaining happy customers who might come back again and spend over $100 at the movies. Your customer base is likely to dwindle more over not giving a $12 credit card refund.

Good for a night out on a Saturday or Friday just to relax and have a nice movie night, Prices for food are quite high but honestly a great movie theater to visit!
