Pretty useless noise complaint services. Complained about a nearby business blasting loud music and heavy bass till 2:30am for hours to no results. Don’t even waste your time.

Pseudo-progressiveness has made this city unbearable to do any shopping or see friends or family without paying extortionate amounts on parking; knowing it will be spent in an inefficient manner is infuriating. It has become worthwhile to go to the Hutt when possible, I feel gravely sad for businesses and ratepayers who pay for this council to exist.

Ridiculous, drove around for more than 30 minutes to find a car park, will be going to Porirua or Lower Hutt to do shopping in future. So anti everything this city has become…… only reason for me now to come into Wellington is to go to airport. This city council is absolutely clueless.

Very disappointed in how WCC handles noise complaints. I called multiple times between midnight and 2.30am to ask for assistance for an extremely loud bass party going on right next door to my building. It was an extremely out of hand event with individuals vomiting all over outdoors in this residential area, and WCC noise control were not able to assist despite apparently sending people to check. Clearly not willing to take care of your hardworking and responsible members of society.

I had a really negative experience with their staff. However, more than willing to change my mind if I get a better experience in the future.

Parking services" are highly predatory people - both those walking the street and those you might interact with in the main office. I am not sure what they contribute to the over wellbeing of Wellington. I think that they are an instance of a governmental entity that should be phased out. They do not work with people despite trying circumstances. They are not reasonable and provide no real service."

what i find is that the new wanna-bees want another tunnel to the airport... get your heads out of the tunnel and think outside the tunnel... All I Ask is that you look at the gap at the miramar entrance... (which has been there since i move to wellington).. You have a mount victoria one-way bus tunnel.. just look at the upgrade of that tunnel that your gonna waste and down time for the closure and maintenance of that tunnel... and last of all.. the stupid idea of lights on cube street... SIMPLE.. put Two Stop Signs on able-smith street... pay me $200.00 for solving this one problem .. but NO.. you pay some dick-head to come up with lights at the intersection... if you want traffic to flow more quickly to the airport... ask the taxi drivers or courier and truck drivers... and if you look at it .. then look at putting round-a-bouts at the haitaitai entrance to the tunnel also at wellington road..

Definitely won't be returning to Wellington for a night out, shopping etc. Parking Fees to 8pm on a week night. Just greedy. How about thinking about all your Retailers & Hospitality establishments.COVID-19 has already moved a lot of people out of the City with more people taking the option to work from home.Parking Fees should cease from 6p., as it used too.Shame on you Wellington City Council & Councillours
