Fantastic place. We dinned in at Lunchtime on a Wednesday.Not too busy so service was fast. We had 4 starters and 5 mains, all of which were beautiful.I was very pleasantly surprised because I had read some reviews.I cannot fault our experience.A true credit to the chefs and staff.

Gladly surprised by this restaurant. The food was good (the sashimi and the duck fried rice were particularly good!). Everyone in the group enjoyed their dessert. I didn't enjoy so much the salmon spring roll (too fishy) or the papaya salad (too hot) but they were still ok. Nicely decorated (tropical theme), just a bit loud so it makes it hard to have a conversation. Good service. Carpark at the back. I would go back.

Loved the ambient lighting of the space and each dish we ordered was beyond flavourful! The wagyu curry, prawn popcorn and pandan dessert were crowd pleasers. Would definitely come here again to try the rest of the menu, kudos to the very friendly and accomodating wait staff too- we had Mernard brighten our whole evening :))

The food was very good, the service was another matter.Our party of 6 arrived 10 minutes late. The front of house staff checked and said sorry your table hadn't been cleared yet. This seemed to be the theme of the evening. On ours and other tables food was being bought to the table but empty and dirty plates remained on tables, few being removed.We ate desert surrounded by our used plates from the previous causes. The bar too was covered in used glasses, so many that they were stacked on top of each other.Two of our party ordered dishes asking that the pork be left out, they both came with pork. There were apologies and they were replaced.The staff, while polite, were inattentive. They could have sold us more drinks if they had bothered to check in, but didn't. They did become animated when what appeared to be friends of theirs arrived, all gathering for a chat.With decent service this would have been a 4.5 review.

Cosy place, awesome staff and plenty of parking at the back. Exquisite meals, particularly their duck. Unfortunately, it’s not available when we came the last time for a group dinner (mothers day), we were so looking forward to it. We still had a great time, as always. Keep it up guys!

Absolutely loved our dinner here recently! The popcorn shrimp is delicious and we really rated the sweet and sour pork belly! Our waiter was friendly and the customer service was great. I read in other reviews that they had small portions - I personally think they’re standard if not slightly larger portion size! It is a little on the expensive side, but I feel like that’s most restaurants in Auckland. Definitely would go back again to try more of their menu!

I recently went to Tok Tok for the first time and trust me, i will be back time and time.We were a table of 6 and pretty much ordered one of every thing. The food was incredible. Trust me when i say this-- do not sleep on the eggplant chips. They are amazing.The mains were delicious. I had the sizzling Beef and highly reccommend.While the food was great. The dining room was beautiful and very comfortable. The thing that was most surprising was how great the service was. Bernard was an amazing host and the service Eloise provided was the best

Overall experience was a positive one, staff were pretty attentive & friendly. We liked the food, it's tasty & unique however we'd still prefer authentic Thai than fusion. We tried ordering some cocktails, but 3 times our preferences were not available.Pictured are papaya salad, pork&prawn padthai, and lemongrass chicken. The best of these 3 was the chicken, it had nice flavours and the chicken itself was tender and juicy. Padthai was our least favourite - not sure about the flavour and taste, not like the standard padthai sauce / flavour.Our cocktails were full of ice and rather bland, cant even taste the alcohol - $20 for a glass of icy water is too pricey.

My friends and I had a lovely experience when we came here for dinner. The service was exceptional and the food was delicious. The food is pretty cheap for the quality and it is plated beautifully. This restaurant is great for people for all ages and very accommodating for families with kids. You can make a reservation in advance but we just walked in and were seated almost immediately. I was very impressed as it was my first time coming here. My friend says this is one of his favourite restaurants in all of Auckland. I would highly recommend.

We love dining at Tok Tok. We've tried everything on the small plates menu and most things on the mains menu, all dishes taste incredible! Cosy atmosphere, amazing service - Mernade is friendly, attentitive, and has excellent product knowledge. Fantastic dining experience every time!
