Can’t recommend this place enough! I always come to Looksmart - Botany to get all my alterations done. The staff are always willing to help no matter the job and do it with a warm and welcoming smile :)I just had my work pants altered and considering the amount of work they had to put in to altering them, they were happy to accept the challenge. I should've asked the Indian lady that served me for her name but am assuming from previous reviews her name might be Shobna. In any case I was bringing my work pants again for the leg hems coming undone due to the washing machine or my foot catching on the hem stitching. I came expecting to pay for the first time it came loose and she said she'd fix that one leg for free and within an hour if I could wait. The second time another leg hem came loose she offered again to fix it for free and used a more firmer stitch meant for jeans on both hems to prevent further unravelling. Am so thankful for someone on a tight budget and as someone in customer service can recognize someone going above and beyond the call of duty. Previously I was not so enamoured with the service or communication but this experience has turned me around to being a loyal customer.

I only went here after reading the reviews but i m not happy with my dress alterations. They told me they r buey n will take a week but i got a call saying my dress is ready n they will be close dur to some emergency n i have to pick my dress before 4.30. which we did i did not see any changes in my dress still the same. Since i needed to wear it i took it else where to get it fixed.

Highly recommend this tailor ! She provided great advices for my dress alteration. The service was done in a timely manner. Great customer service. I would definitely go back for future alterations !

Shobna did an incredible job transforming a basic dress into a beautiful dress, which fit me like a glove. She knew instinctively what to do to get the fit right, by removing the zipper. And she altered the top so well, you’d have no idea it had ever been changed! Every time I visit, she’s full of smiles and so obliging. She listens carefully and is able to explain exactly what she can do to create the ‘look’ you want. Best of all, every time I see her, she makes me feel really good about myself and we usually have a laugh together. It’s well above the service I expect. If you are considering alterations for your items, I highly recommend Shobna at the Botany Downs store.

Looksmart Botany Town Centre is amazing. The staff are always friendly, they're knowledgeable and most importantly, they consistently do a fantastic job. I've been going to them for well over a year now and have never had a bad experience. If you are in the local area and need any alterations done, I cannot more highly recommend the crew at Looksmart Botany Town Centre - 10/10

Have taken multiple items that were by all accounts, way too big for me. Have had excellent service every time and have been really happy with the alterations made each time.

The store that did the alterations for me was at Botany Town Centre. They were very helpful and most courteous looking after me as a special person. The work carried out on the alterations to my expensive coat was first class. Everything was done to excellence. I will definitely be back and recommend this service to my friends.Thanks. Well done.
