Needed to stop for the night and the Tamaranui Cosmopolitan Club" was recommended to us by other Freedom Campers. Pay $5 per head at either the club if open or at The Liqourland adjacent the Cossy Club carpark. It caters for all your campers needs."

The beer and wine good served by a nice lady at the bar.The green chicken curry and rice and the pork roast were beautifully cooked and presented.

Great incorporated club.$5 per night parking for nzmca members and others self contained campers.Restaurant.Bar. pool tables. Music. Friendly people.

Taumaranui Cosmo Club is now actually closed down, however there were several motorhomes still able to park in their grounds. Water and dump site available. Spent a couple of days resting up. Supported local outlets with various things. Eg haircut, supermarket, gas bottle refill, cafes etc. All good. Pity about the rain all day yesterday hissed down all day.
