Victoria Square
Well designed and maintained city park. It’s located between the Town Hall and Convention centre, so a good place to take a walk either before or after you join some events.I have only been here a handful of times after living in Christchurch a few years. I definitely will come to here and walk around more often.

Beautiful park space in the center of Christchurch city with lots of statues, walkways benches and trees. The Avon river passes by the park and there are some cool fountains to see too.

What a neat place to explore with eateries galore.A vibrant place especially during the night time.Ben and Jerry ice cream is a must for dessert.

Visited the Matariki celebrations. Not too crowded, plenty of time to stroll round the square and up to Remembrance Bridge. Nice to have boards explaining all about Matariki.

Beautiful public reserve in the heart of the city. Historic fountain, Vicky's statue, bridges, the town hall the floral clock and the lazy Avon river. Magic!!

What a pleasant surprise to have this beautiful place sitting right on the doorstep of our hotel.Very tranquil and well maintained, the water fountain feature piece was stunning. Highly recommend going for a walk around if you’re nearby.James AshwinKakapo Business Sales

Tirama mai, winter light festival was excellent. Lights were excellent. Kids loved playing drums and watching fire performance.

Such a beautiful park! Right next to the Avon River, middle of town and the Town Hall, Victoria Square (not to be confused with Victoria Park up the hill) is a lovely green space with a fountain and manicured gardens. Some time events are held here live the ChCh Big Band Festival in the warmer months.
