The settlement of St. Arnaud is on the shore of Lake Rotoiti. You can drive up the winding road to the Mount Robert carpark to look down onto the beautiful Lake Rotoiti or you can spend a day tramping around the lake or take the shorter loop walks and listen to the Bellbird's tune. You may catch a peek at the native parrots, the Kaka and Kakariki.You. The Buller River leaves West Bay at Lake Rotoiti as a very small river which slowly gets bigger as it flows westward until much larger, it flows into the Tasman Sea at Westport. Parking and toilets available.

Aqui encontramos, uma vez mais, um local de sonho rodeado de lindíssimas Montanhas. É possível apreciarmos a vida selvagem que existe no local, bem como estar em contacto com os animais que se aproximam de nós. Existem vários percursos pedestres para que possa conhecer melhor todo o local.
