We have been there while on our vacation. I must say the ambience was very good and so was the service. And the food... just too yumm! Onion pakora is a must try if you are visiting this place.

Amazing meal- everything was good. Drinks were also yummy. Beautiful space inside and deck outside has amazing views of the water. Would 10/10 come again.

Bombay palace at Wanaka is proper fine dine Indian restaurant located at magnificent location overlooking lake Wanaka. Food was delicious authentic Indian and restaurant staff was well mannered. Restaurant is well decorated with indoor and outdoor seating both available.

The restaurant is set up in an amazing location overlooking Lake Wanaka. The food here is authentic Indian and delicious. Prices are slightly on the higher side, however considering the location it is worth it.There is also a full bar and Indian beer and spirits including Old Monk rum.

I was not expecting to find authentic Indian food in Wanaka. I was pleasantly surprised by the Bombay Palace. The food is excellent. It's packed with spices and very flavorful.My only negative comment would be that the service staff did not seem highly engaged. The waitress who took my order did not check back in with me. There seemed to be one gentleman doing all the work while the waitresses were in a corner chatting.

DO NOT EAT HERE:They are charging for two plater but brings you only one and does not allow take away the food they charged you for.Also if you ordered food and did not eat it, they will mix it back and resell it.Worst customer experience I’ve ever had in this beautiful city.I encourage everyone to share the experience so they do not scam others.

One of the best indian restaurants you can ever try! Staff is always so kind, polite and in good mood. Every curry is absolute bomb and never forget to get yourself a great tasting mango lassi!
