Kiwi Motorhomes

We rent with kiwi motorhome for 33 days, a family 3 adults and 2 kids (8 and 5), for traveling south Island and a little bit of North. It was perfect! Leon and Varnier are professionals, very helpful, they just want us to get a wonderful holiday and we got just that. We loved it so much that we made an other reservation for the 10 days that we have left visiting North Island. The RV we got was running great, spacious, fully equipped. Can only recommend this great company! They even was able to arrange a special drop off location for us.

We had the best trip of our life in NZ. Mainly thanks to kiwi motorhomes.We drove big trev for 3 weeks and went to some of the most beautiful places in the country / in the world in the vest conditions. Our 2 kids really enjoyed spending time in this van.Leon and Varnier offer the best service you can find. They were so helpful before the booking despite the time difference between France and NZ. Picking up the van and giving it back was smooth and no surprise, no hidden fee, nothing to worry about. We were in very good hands!A great company! An amazing service with top quality vans! I dont know if we will be able to come back to NZ one day, but if we do, we will rent our van once more with kiwi motorhomes for sure!Thank you guys

A great motorhome hire company from start to finish. The customer service was personalised and friendly. The motorhome was is great condition and very reasonably priced for what we got.I would definitely recommend them to others and would use them again myself the next time in NZ.

We spent an amazing 4 weeks in Gazza, our lovely, spacious, comfortable Renault Jayco motorhome, touring the South and North island in March.We’ve had the best first time in a camper van as well as in NZ. The vehicle was intuitive to handle and drive, comfortable and provided us with all and more than we needed!Leon and Varnier were truly lovely, helpful, and providing us with all the necessary info from day 1 (even before booking the van, we got friendly advice choosing it last September).We definitely recommend Kiwi Motorhomes and would love to return & book with them again one day! :-)

We originally reserved our motorhome in 2021 with Kiwi Motorhomes. Unfortunately, COVID delayed our trip until March, 2023. Varnier and Leon were so accommodating and kind throughout the whole process of rebooking (twice) our dream trip. Little Pete was our home on both islands for 25 days and it was a perfect trip! Leon and Varnier provided the perfect vehicle for us and even helped us reschedule our ferry between the islands after the ferry company cancelled our original crossing. Many thanks for helping us have a memorable journey!! 3,590 kilometers!

We rent lovely Kowhai motorhome in our short trip for 5 days from Christchurch to Auckland, a family 3 adults. We've got some incredible new experience, discovered buterful places met lovely people.Leon and Varnier provided professional support and help during our trip.Motorhome was easy to drive and provided all what we need during a trip.We highly recommend Kiwi Motorhomes for you next trip. Great experience with Kiwi Motorhomes. Highly recommended.We had booked our 12-30 March 23 trip last March but Leon and Varnier, the owners, answered any queries I had promptly. This personal service continued throughout: RV pick up on a Sunday (lots of companies are closed on Sundays); drop off /pick up from airport/hotel; lots of extras provided, including camping chairs, mountain bikes, DVDs and even salt & pepper; prompt responses by whatsapp to queries during the hire; and personal handover by Leon and Varnier. We have rented RVs in the US, Canada and Oz from big name companies but a family owned business provides the extra touch. It felt like saying good bye to old friends yesterday when we returned the van to them.We may have paid a bit more than going through other companies because we got the last RV available - a 6 berth, but the flexibility, service and extras included made it worthwhile. Well worth checking them out. NB not to be confused with Kiwi Campers.

I had the pleasure of hiring Murphy (motorhome name) for 10 days in May 2023.It was my first experience of hiring any motorhome / camper. I was very nervous about driving away in the biggest vehicle I have ever driven, but it handled easily and become easier by the kilometre.As I became more acquainted with the features of Murphy, the more I liked her.The motorhome was very clean and had been topped up with diesel, lpg and fresh water, the batteries were charged fully on the motorhome and the ebike (also supplied as part of my hire).I will hire another motorhome from Kiwi Motorhomes when I plan my next escape in New Zealand.
